I kinda see Linus in Antisocial personality disorder, they didn't seem to have emotions towards outside stimulus until he saw Peter. Might've been projecting his lack of emotions onto Peter who wear his heart on his sleeves, but whatever it is he felt it for him, and for some with this disorder they're capable of feeling emotions or even empathy for the person/people they 'let in'.

I think that's one of the reasons he missed the signs of Peter growing weary of their relationship, he was too focused on 'their future' 'isolating him' 'giving the world to him' that the line snapped, first for Peter then it was for Linus himself.

His reasons are out of the world for sane people, he wasn't sane since the start anyway, our reasoning won't work to understand his character. And when he start to hallucinate, his delusions grows even more out of control and twisted.

When he was a child, he imagined destroying the world out of boredom, remember this point. when he felt love/obsession towards Peter, he vowed to kill anyone who hurt him, he hates anyone who so much as glanced at Peter, he hates the idea someone else fancying Peter. Now, he realized that he IS the one hurting Peter, that made him want to kill himself (but those attempts was put to stop by the doctors and people around him). But he also realized if he's dead, that won't stop people from 'loving' Peter, he hates that. Which gives him the idea, if everyone is dead then no one can like him, look at him, or have him. He have no qualms to really go through with that idea, after all the idea existed even before he knew Peter, their circumstance actually fueled his motivation. But that also means harming Peter, that also means hurting Peter since he knows Peter cares for other people unlike him who's unable to feel empathy. And that conflict birthed the delusions that if he can't kill everyone, at least Peter would be cornered enough to kill him, to end him, and positively remember him in whatever manners it might be. It was enough for Linus

I truly understand that feeling that Dan must be having, being scared of your loved one to pass, that loneliness yet also the heavy burden it comes with taking care of ailing loved ones. It's hard, it's hard on your body, it's hard on your mental. You don't want them to pass, yet it's so hard, and you feel guilty for even feeling that way and it circles around, spinning into madness. And when they finally passed, there's a relief, then comes the maddening regrets, and it stays for years. Knowing Dan, it'll hit him hard so hard I'm hoping his grandma will survive this. In truth it's a story with dark moral, but it was packed so nicely you would think it's just morally grey. In reality, this is a whole ass burning forest flag, but the ending makes it feels wholesome and a touch of green flag. It's crazy how great the author play with our psychology here.

I think Dani's problem is being a young naive teenage girl ahahaha. She got so much on her plate, figuring out her place, her future, her friend's wellbeing and her first relationship with Yeodan. It's understandable that when she focuses her attention on one thing, the other things got pushed back like her relationship with Yeodan.

Honestly her relationship with Yeodan is still awkward, still like testing the water and they both care too much about the other they didn't communicate nicely. The keep holding back it becomes a circle of evil. Here's to hoping they finally communicate better
