The ending sucked so much. I dropped it when I found out the crown prince was the ML in the novel and came back to see he was the ML in the WEBTOON too. Just because he wasn’t abusive by choice doesn’t excuse the fact that he was abusive. Tia should’ve found a new path in her life since she was literally given a second shot in life not go back to the man who caused her all the pain in the first place. Although this story sucked the author doesn’t deserve death threats tho - this is just fictional story although a pretty bad one at that.
That trash still was abusive by choice tho. Tia was fed the same poison as him for years, but never went as far as committing such horrendous crimes against another human being, an innocent girl at that. So one think we’re not gonna do is act like he had no control over his actions

All I’m saying is that even if this was true this isn’t an excuse for actions at all and he doesn’t deserve to be with her at all. Even if abusers have a bad childhood it doesn’t excuse their actions.

And exactly, his actions simply cannot be excused. Good for you for dropping it if u didn’t feel like it’s right yk. The author def f up and the prince being endgame is unacceptable but surprisingly I still enjoyed the story lol.
Ruve was brainwashed by Duke Zena. Constantly being told that Tia was evil and so on. That was the main reason why Ruve was abusive towards her. You would probably say/think “He could’ve just opened his eyes and look at what he’s doing since he has full control over his body..” but brainwashing is very damaging towards ones mindset and it’s very hard for someone to get out of it. Brainwashing someone is something no one should take lightly at all.
As I’ve already said, simple jealousy/hatred towards a single person doesn’t make up for the things he did. I doubt me or most of the readers are going to just pass that ish. If Tia’s considered “kind” because she didn’t torment someone like he did when she was poisoned, then it only further implies that his true character is evil.
