The emotions of this conversation had lead my intentions astray. What I meant to convey was that this is a fictional story, the original commenter only wanted to know a plot mechanism. They're not even asking a gay couple in real life who the bottom is. If they do that in real life, I'll may be on your side and lecture them. Actually, I think they'll also be on your side about this.

However, I do not think that they have that intention at all (to go ask a gay couple in real life who is the bottom). You're policying a situation that doesn't need you to. While you think that asking plot mechanisms may lead this person or people like this person to go out into the world and ask gay people who is bottom, I think you're gravely incorrect.
