I put this story off thinking it was all smutty with no story based on the title! Glad I finally got to read it, it definitely has an interesting story, lovable character and the smutt is just enough! Well balanced all round, I love it!

i think candy's jealousy is reasonable tho.. in his eyes, hajun is in love with his colleague yet hajun smiles at him and makes him feel that he is in love with candy at times.. that's why i think he's hurt because he thinks hajun doesn't look at him the way hajun looks at the other..

"Was" and that as before they started dating with Candy. I had crushed on some of my friends, those feelings are completely gone and I have nothing but love for them, as a friend. If my current partner started getting jealous of them that would bu ridiculous.
Nothing about that is reasonable. You should see how I laugh and smile with friends, why would anyone take such a joyous thing and be jealous. Shouldn't you be happy your partner is happy and smiling?
“Was” doesn’t mean that Candy knows that. I mean, the way that Hajun speaks to blondie is still cause for jealousy, especially since Candy knows that they’ve been friends since childhood. Candy already understands that Hajun’s love for that guy runs deep. He feels played because Hajun will be loving to him but then turn around and act the same with the other guy. Remember, just because you act a certain way does not make it the same for everyone else.
The way he talks to blondie is reason to be jealous? That's ridiculous, how should friends talk? I'm super close with friends and they are super close with friends, everytime we meet it's loud, hugging, interacting, smiling, laughing - it's normal to do this with friends. I love my friends, as in I would take bullets for them, love that deep between friends is normal.
Well, good for you but I don’t think you’re understanding that people act and feel things differently. It doesn’t make their feelings less than or immature, it just how they have their morals and boundaries set. If Candy is uncomfortable then he has all the right to be.
If this is how people are actually choosing to live then what a sad life. Having to control how you smile at your friends. Or denying to help a friend in need because that might be considered too much love. Imagine going through a hard time and all your friends refuse to help you because that type of love is too much. Or hanging out with your friends and non of you smile at each other and keep your distance. This just made me appreciate my friends even more, I'll never take them for granted because it seems some people don't or can't have what we have.
Umm.. this is only my opinion but this is why I think Candy's jealousy is reasonable.
As we all know Yunjae (is it the correct spelling?) is Hajun's first love or something. He thought of him as more than a friend all those times before Candy appeared. Even Candy knows that but Hajun makes (directly or indirectly maybe?) him feel like he has feelings for Candy. He lovingly smiled at him (okay, it is normal to smile at others, but I think it is not often that Hajun smiles the way he does with Candy? Because it is what Candy has observed), gets jealous (as well) because of Uno and Candy's closeness, he implicitly tells/shows Candy that he loves him or that he has feelings for him. Hajun never explicitly tells him that. But Hajun makes Candy feel as if Candy is special and important to Hajun. Candy thought that Hajun is only that way with him (okay maybe Candy's just assuming that's why he felt hurt after) but Hajun is also like that with his friend not only with him, he ain't special at all, Candy felt. Of course, there's nothing wrong with helping a friend or smiling at a friend you're really close to especially because Hajun is friends with Yunjae since childhood. But what Candy knew is that Hajun was in love with Yunjae.
But then, he saw Hajun hugging Yunjae. Maybe he thought that it isn't "was" but "is" or "still". Maybe Candy thought that maybe Hajun is still in love with Yunjae. He doesn't know anything about the situation or what happened to Yunjae okay?
He backed off, right? He did everything even trying to lie to himself that he's just saying that he has feelings for Hajun because of his mission. Maybe it is so that he doesn't get hurt if ever he confirms that Hajun is still in love with Yunjae. Then, what happened at the porch (is that what it is called?) happened. Hajun told Yunjae that he is going out with Candy. So maybe Candy was overjoyed by the thought that maybe Hajun also feels the same way as him and already moved on from liking Yunjae.
Then, moments after that, it was shown that Candy was listening to Hajun and Yunjae. When Hajun asked if Yunjae is fine with Hajun dating a man, if it doesn't bother him at all, Yunjae says of course and Hajun says I see. Maybe, yes, Hajun is only talking to Yunjae about it because maybe he thinks that Yunjae thinks it is somewhat wrong for a man to date a man (?) or maybe for clarification that Yunjae is okay with it (if I were to date the same gender, I'd also ask my friend if he/she is ok with it because not all of society is okay with it).
But, what Candy thought of the situation is that Hajun is disappointed that Yunjae is alright with him dating someone else. Umm.. do you get it? Maybe he misinterpreted the conversation's tone. He felt used maybe because he thought that Hajun is just using him to see what Yunjae's reaction will be after hearing that Hajun is going out with someone. We all know that Hajun didn't look like he was disappointed because of the panel. He looked relieved for me actually. Maybe because his friend accepted the fact that he's dating a man. But Candy listened. He didn't saw Hajun's face nor know of Hajun's thoughts at all. What he only know is that there's a chance that Hajun still likes Yunjae and maybe because of his insecurity, he felt as if he's only there for Hajun to test if ever Yunjae will budge. Maybe he felt anxious. No one told him that Hajun loves him not even Hajun cleared it yet. They haven't even talked about it much.
When, he knocked the frame, Hajun sounded angry when he told Candy not to touch it. Then, Candy saw Hajun and Yunjae's picture at the very back of the frame. Maybe he thought that Hajun really still haven't moved on from being in love with Yunjae. Maybe he felt abandoned. His insecurity was piling up.
So he knocked Hajun wishing that Hajun will look at him because it is Candy who's in front of him and not someone else.
Then ok they had make-up sex (or is that what you call it?). Everything resolved, for a moment. Candy's mission is cancelled but he felt reluctant to leave.
After that, Candy heard what happened the day Hajun hugged Yunjae. Maybe he felt like his worries started to dissipate. Then he heard that Hajun said that does Yunjae thinks Hajun wouldn't do a lot more for Yunjae. We all know that there's a chance it is not stated romantically. But, Candy glances at his wrist and felt shameful of his feelings. Maybe he read too much of what Hajun told Yunjae. Candy felt embarrassed that he is feeling pain and joy and love from thinking that Hajun is treating him like he's special to him whereas (he thought) it was not the case at all. Maybe he felt shameful that he is in love with Hajun and wants to be in a relationship to a person who clearly (maybe he thought) doesn't care about him.
That's why he ran. Maybe he felt that it was the trigger he needs for his cancelled mission. That there's no more reason for him to stay. That's why he said they're done.
For me, this is why Candy's so-called jealousy but (I think?) it was more like insecurity, is reasonable. Maybe, from his point of view, Hajun made him feel special one time then the other time Hajun makes him feel that Hajun is still in love with another. Nothing's clear to him. I don't think his feelings is ridiculous at all. It's just that there's a lack of communication as well between Hajun and Candy which makes the negativity more unbearable.
It's only my opinion. Maybe reading it from the start again would help to understand each characters better. Sorry for having this kind of view if ever it irritates you.
