Ok people might hate me for this but I actually love this (⊙…⊙ ) but it’s only cause I’m like 99% sure this is a parody or been purposely exaggerated - I mean reeaaallly think about it - it’s even called candy man!! people are put off by the guys toxicity but isn’t that the point?? Practically the whole thing is based on how he’s constantly going after the brown haired guy (I have the worst memory with names lol) and it’s made no secret how obsessive and crazy his behaviour is. I’m pretty sure this has just been mislabelled/not described accurately and it’s actually supposed to be a more fleshed out yandere story just without the death. The plot doesn’t even make sense most of the time I mean how they overcome the prejudice of their parents - the dad is literally abusing his son because of this while the mum does nothing and it’s stopped because the guy says he will take care of him??? Plus the grandma who accepts them after he acts really cute with her. I really don’t think this is meant to be taken seriously as a healthy and loving relationship - more like something just different and fluffy to read, or just to live out a forbidden fantasy of a relationship that would NEVER work out in real life, obviously. Which is why, regardless, it wouldn’t be a good idea for anyone with past or present trauma with abusive or toxic relationships to read this, but personally I was fine with it - especially as someone who I’m pretty sure has the whole wants someone to rely on/take care of me/never leave me thing going on right now I actually enjoyed reading it - but obviously I know these are major red flags and would be an absolutely horrible and suffocating partnership in real life

It was annoying how manipulative ginu was at the beginning but honestly after a while I just got annoyed at how dense yubin is at how after all that he seriously still convinced himself ginu didn’t feel anything else for him... but I am really happy the author didn’t go with the second protag / “love interest” route with the blue haired guy cause I hate plot lines like that and I always end up disliking the uke for being completely oblivious and leading both people on.
I know most people think this made it seem like there was no plot but I don’t really mind there being less conflicts just cause I love fluffy stories where you just see a relationship develop and this was just that with more smut
(Idk if it matters but I feel like I should mention I haven’t read the side stories yet)

I do like it... but I hate the start when hibiki basically pressured hiroto into having sex straight away without telling him about the gender switch which is SUPER IMPORTANT information to tell a prospective date, and then proceeds to blame him afterwards!! That’s so manipulative! (^_^)also that coworker guy- hibiki clearly knows that he’s interested but then gets mad at him for worrying about him/her sleeping in front of him when he called hIM BEFORE AND SAID HE COULDNT CONTROL HIMSELF!! This gets so annoying!! \\٩(๑`^´๑)۶//// (I’ve only read up to that part tho I don’t know if it gets better later)

He didn't "blame" him, he was just playing with it. Gender is also something trans people (or intersex people) don't need to disclose until they feel comfortable, trans and intersex people are victims of a lot of hate crimes, so revealing the gender to someone they've just met is not possible unless we live in an ideal world.
Also, she (girl Hibiki) was very adamant on having sex but he agreed, it's not like she raped him, he was just very much surprised.

I get what you mean but are they really trans or intersex - to be fair I don’t know what intersex means? I mean to say this situation seems kinda different and even though I’d understand if hibikl was uncomfortable telling him, I still just didn’t like how it felt when they like dragged him off to suddenly have sex. I haven’t read it in a while, so correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t hibiki know they were going to meet again the next day? (So he would have found out anyway) Either way it just kinda felt to me like they were trying to guilt trip/ trap him into sort of feeling like he had to “take responsibility” for the relations they’d had, like he had to keep dating him now, but I get that he was probably just teasing him, I always take little stuff like this in mangas way too seriously
Plus from what I remember I actually wrote this right after reading the part I talked about when hiroto/hibiki got angry at the guy after he told them to not be alone with the other guy or something like that and that was the part I was most annoyed with, I just figured if I was making a topic I might as well write about everything

if i may interject. their sex is important because the weight of being able to have a male body is just as important to their partner. Because, in Hiroto's shoes, he felt deceived which is apparent when he realized it the next time they met. and it's not just "surprise". In this story, even if it is smut, Hibiki had the responsibility to come clean especially because they are in a "contractual" or arranged meeting. If they are going to date Hiroto, it means having Hiroto know what he's getting himself into.
And yeah, for those theyve just met, they don't need to. but if they enter a "dating" relationshup, it's a different story. the same can be told to a transgender or intersex when they do not let their partners know before having sex. it's less pressure and risk than when they actually start doing it but their partner didn't know. that would create more hate crime because it gives the impression of being "deceived".
also, being a transgender or intersex is an identity which shouldn't be shamed any longer. that's why we have to confront problems which is central to their identity. it may sound insensitive to transgenders or intersex people but it's only right that their partner knows their identity because just like them having their preferences and sexual identity, heterosexuals or those who do not prefer transgender or intersex partners are just as valid.

To be honest I found the guy with glasses pretty unlikable. He was somehow confused(?) by the other guys actions but it all made sense to me?? Like he kissed him, then sincerely confessed and that’s supposed to imply he’s playing a prank? He’s also constantly angry at him for no reason even when he’s trying to help him, especially when he saw him with the girl but even if he was going out with her I don’t understand how it would be any of his business - I mean he had been avoiding him for a while already so I imagine any other person would take that as a rejection or that you’re uncomfortable with dating that person #-.-) it’s even worse when you think that they’d already been friends for a while before it started but he was just completely ignoring his feelings and refused to talk about it with him at all

AAHHH MY GOd this is so amazing!!!! Jake is literally the best boyfriend I’ve ever seen!! Also, not gonna lie, Christina is getting kinda annoying - I mean I get that she probably wants to believe felix is telling the truth so much, she can’t see anything else - but this is just getting stupid.. like maybe believe your childhood friend that you’ve known forever and know cares for you more than anyone else over this suspicious guy you’ve recently met???

I wish Mafuyu would talk to Uenoyama more about his feelings and like now when he’s feeling left behind. I thought he’d learned from before with Yuki about communicating properly, but instead he only goes to talk with other people, like kaji and shizusuma (is that his name?). I get that it may be difficult for him to trust again and stuff but I feel like he should at least be trying and it’s kinda disheartening.

I realise it makes sense since he obviously wouldn’t know what he’s thinking and I shouldnt expect that right off the bat considering how much he’s been through at such a young age but it’s just making me sad how much uenoyama is suffering right now because of everything ╥﹏╥ plus it kinda feels like they’re not even in a relationship since they haven’t done anything together since that one kiss (from what I remember) - they’re not even hanging out anymore

That is definitely true, but I just don’t get why uenoyama has to be the one to sort of coerce him into talking to him - so far I haven’t really seen anything that proves to me that mafuyu is that into uenoyama and I reallly don’t want him to get more hurt over this cause he doesn’t deserve it (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜 but I get that obviously this is probably gonna be one of the conflicts of the story, there kinda has to be one for it to continue... but I’m too attached lol I just want fluff

I did like it but I was kinda confused sometimes like their relationship went from kurose trying to help shirotani, then him trying to monopolise him (when I thought it was actually an s and m story) and it didn’t seem like shirotani was getting any better (because kurose didn’t want him to so he could be special to him???) but now it’s like everything’s normal and they’re a happy couple and kurose just isn’t like that anymore?? But I don’t really mind that much, I still love them together, as long as they’re happy~~ I am kinda annoyed tho about how neither of them still don’t know anything about their past, actually shirotani does know about the author sort of but kurose doesn’t know about what happened with that girl and neither does the dad!!
What the hell!! I’m so confused - does he actually think he’s getting rusty or is he just saying that for some reason???? What are you talking about he’s amazing!! Even I know that and I haven’t been eating his food for the past month! If someone else has been working as a real chef for the past five years or something, obviously they are gonna be good at cooking full on meals and dishes but how does that mean jake has gotten any worse??? It just shows the other guy has gotten better. You just acknowledged how he must be feeling down because he’s scared of getting rusty but you’ve just exacerbated those feelings yourself! And he said it in the worst possible way at the worst possible time!! ヽ(`Д´)ノ
I genuinely don’t understand, he’s only been praising his food this entire time and now all of a sudden he’s like “I’ve been thinking this for a while, but you’re actually not that good”?!??
yup thats totally not cool at all
I think he meant that Jake doesn’t think he’s a good enough chef
But he said “don’t you realise that your cooking skills are getting rusty” ??
Lol I read that line wrong my bad but i don’t think Justin meant it really harshly and just blurted it out like that. I think the meaning was more about Jakes skills are getting rusty because he isn’t keeping up with expanding his skills like the blonde chef. Instead Jake is cooking only food Justin wants and working as a server, It makes sense Jakes food isn’t as good as the blonde guy because Jake quit being a chef. All and all Justin definitely let out the wrong words but I think Justin is upset seeing Jake waste his talent.
I get what you mean, I hadn’t thought about it like that, I was just imagining being in jakes shoes and I would be soo offended and hurt if he had said that to me after everything that’s happened, but I guess it doesn’t really matter as long as Justin knows it wasn’t okay and didn’t mean any harm, plus jakes already forgiven him ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭(although I’m not sure what his face was meant to convey after Justin said that if he actually didn’t really mind)
