It's just so crazy how different they are in the side story. Main story gave us a mild 3 of the FL possessiveness but now shit it on 100.

It should be the parent's job who knows what's going on, to take the lead and tell the other parent that they don't want what they want. Of course you should give the child space to eventually say it themselves. But also reassure them that they will speak with the other parent. Idk, I just hate that she's made to look like the parent that's on their side but you're not taken care of YOUR husband.

Isn't Ethan his grandson? I just don't understand the premise of the Old man's organization. His daughter who married a vampire and had a child with were safe with him. You caused the trouble in her life. So what are you trying to do? Ethan is a halfling, but what trouble has he caused that warrant such aggressive retaliation? The old man's purpose in the story isn't really winning me over.

This is what I mean...yeah I like you, but you won't be treating me or telling me what I can and can not do because of it. And a lot of MCs will let the ML do what ever just because the MC has feelings for them. And I'm glad MC somewhat shut that down. Yes they have somethings to work out, but I don't like when the MC is trampled all over in order for the two to fix and build their relationship. This will probably be the only moment like this, but man was I like HELL YEAH when he said "why should I listen to you" ლ(´ڡ`ლ)
