I came from reading the Emperor and the Female Knight which has similar story. But oh boy this is better in terms of romance I can tell. FL will have a happy ending after this war is over. But both I adore the story since the other is more focus on FL gender struggles being a knight. ლ(´ڡ`ლ)
In the emperor and the female knight when i realized the king was actually having regular sex with his wives in the phantom pregnancy part, I was so dissapointed in him for actually still having feelings for the FL..... and then in the comment section i read a spoiler..... I was disgusted and left the story right then.

That king has 3 daughters from his wives and one night ends up having drunken sex with FL and further ends up having a son from her.. continued hardships for FL.
Well yes it was disgusting if we see it in modern eyes for we are monogamous. I understand it well, but I as well felt not disgust but just pure dissapointment to that ML of Emperor and Female night. Anticipation for FL is she ever fall for the ML then of course she would have to deal with that baggage. Royal family in real life history is indeed messed up and scandalous.

Ah when are they getting together? Are they even gonna end up being together? This is not typical story but more of realistic during those era. Kings do have many wives and its not considered inappropiate after all. But the monogamous heart feel broken when he gave up and not even able to confess at least then proceed to select concibines ugh (︶︿︶)

Love love love the story. Second time in a row reading. How interesting, if I am also the FL I would rather live away from all this nobility bullshit. Its funny that she is surrounded with all these sought-after hot men but never care at all since she only wants to help the characters in this story. She is someone from the current world and is aware how petty status and money is. Rather live a simple life. I love that part where she is completely not attached from all the drama. I find that situation very entertaining I cant wait for the update!
