That the male lead is a healer, I find that most stories will have a strong female lead, but the male lead is always a warrior. It’s rare that he’s anything other. So I’m finding this refreshing. A witch and her pharmacist .
Also if you’re looking for a more mature read with a similar dynamic then read dark slayer by Christine feehan. The female lead isn’t as fierce, but she is a warrior and her partner (the male lead) has strength but he’s not really a fighter. She has a wolf pack to...it’s cool and a simple read.

I couldn’t deal, I felt so cringed reading this but I loved it so much to . Poor uke is so caught up in the alpha though... and we know the alpha also likes him, but man...I kinda want the uke to stop chasing.

Why does the prince seem like the only nice guy right now? Like I was routing for haron but.... he seems sketchy af right now. I feel like he’s working with the “fl “ to ruin violet. And he proposed when the duke proposed almost like to keep most distance between them. It seems sweet at first like he was jealous but what is actually going on? Is he in love with her or what? No matter how much I told him he was handsome he’d never believe me. Tbh we weren’t together long and I don’t know to much about it, but I know he acted similar to this guy. Yup yup, even if the 'beautiful person thinks they're unattractive' trope is a bit overused (tho it mostly with female characters) I don't find it unrealistic
Why is everyone so confused about things. I mean, the diary is kind of self explanatory. It’s going to show how she’s lied to him all this time. She didn’t tell him about herself, sure she attempted to but she didn’t afterwards. He’s going to be furious now, she was a big factor into his best friend dying. He betrayed his king by having an affair with the concubine. He gave up his position for her to. He’s been honest and open with her. Of course he’s going to be furious. Especially when he finds out that the first thing she said to him (properly) was “apologise for calling me a whore!” When....in his eyes...yknow...the books gonna clearly show how she had a relationship with the white haired guy. Who is also suspected for being the azure assassin guy.
He’s gonna suspect the fudge out of her! Everything he knew was a lie, and he may believe her when she tells him the truth, but he’s gonna be wary. And that “three knocks and the soul comes through” thing. She’s had two encounters with the shaman now, one more and she’ll be gone, or fighting for the body, either one.
Oh!! And the mother! It’s clear as day to me her ex lover was shady, he was working with the queen regent or whatever she was, and she was a pawn in their game, so he didn’t want her to leave so he got her to meet her “mother” (a fake) to convince her.
I actually like this little omega . He’s just so upfront and honest, like he’s not wrong though. The omega the alpha ended up with is okay, they clearly like each other but like...I wouldn’t t say I’m massively in support of them. I’d not be mad if they both got new partners. Plus it’s good that the omega is being challenged? But I think the “challenges “ will actually be the omega meeting his alpha. Because he’s a top. and his pheromones and nature will dictate what will happen, which will be scary for him, because he loves kade (however you spell his name) and I think this is when they’ll seal the deal and he tops the omega.

SAAMEE. I feel like Kaede finally topping Azusa will take them to new heights. Like I understand Azusa believed he needed to pleasure Kaede like he's never been pleasured before in order to keep him, but that doesn't mean his confidence won't be shaken by someone cute and willing to be a bottom from the jump. It also doesn't help that Kaede doesn't secure his confidence in their relationship. He literally let some rando newbie challenge his omega and not stick up for him. The disrespect （￣へ￣). It'll take Azusa meeting his fated pair and being all submissive for the fated pair in order for Kaede to recognize game.
I think that the current emperor rebelled because his brother “gave” her to him. He promised not to take her as a concubine, and he watched as his younger got attached, probably changed his mind when she grew up rather beautiful. Probably a power thing tbh. She couldn’t say no, and he found her desirable.
Sounds like the girl and the prince (now emperor were proper sweetheart). And I don’t know what happened to her for her to stay away from him, but it’s probably got something to do with her feeling “unworthy “ of him, she may have been raped and that’s what makes her feel that way. And because her choice was taken from her before he’s not pushing it at all. He’s letting her lead. Granted killing ya brother is a tad to much... but his brother was cruel to by the sounds of it. This kind of power is an eat or be eaten kinda thing.
So the vibes he’s giving off to me is chaotic neutral. I don’t think he’s evil, I just don’t think he’s good either. Kind of like how you can be a psychopath without being a serial killer. Or maybe even like dexter. Evil but with morals....Cus everyone’s gotta have them. ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
Like the op character that excels in magic that the protagonist meets at some point and then the op character takes a liking to the protagonist and help them.out sometimes but they are still evil some sorts kinda
