I know hanna probably isn’t his romantic partner but I dunno….ive lost a lot of respect for this heroin. She supported a weak man who didn’t respect her at all for years. She then lets another man into her home and instantly offers herself up to him and “competes” with this hanna woman. She has no self respect at all. We as the readers know hanna probably isn’t a thing but in her eyes he’s a taken man and she’s just okay being his play thing? The other woman? I don’t particularly enjoy reading about home wreckers. (I know she won’t be but in her eyes she is and that’s all the info I need). Honestly she needs to work on herself and frankly he could do better. If he likes woman like her he has a savior complex.

The blue haired alchemist would make for a great story if she was to go back in time. Poor woman was used, abused and used some more. As much as I felt bad for her hubby he ultimately went down the wrong path to. I couldn’t see the, being happy together if they’d lived. Then you have their poor son…what happened to him? Did I miss something? He was alive but missing some of his soul?


Anyway, I enjoyed the story but I felt really sorry for everyone the empower had contact with.

She ends up with the Daniel guy, and I can see that. Like the white haired guy said, she’d drawn a line. She doesn’t see them as “available” even though they are, they’re the same as the girl, just people for her to help. She doesn’t know much about daniel, he’s practically a stranger and seems like the least effected of all the characters. So there’s not the “saviour” thing she has with everyone else.

So I hate the emperor and trashta, however... if the emperor and the empress had communicated properly, I could have seen the story being a lot different. The emperor has already shown that he has a lot of faith in the empress, so if she’d actually fully defended herself, and shown a little emotion I believe things would have turned out differently. It pains me to say this, but they’re two people who would have made a solid power couple IF they’d shared the same love language. If you’ve read the novels then no spoilers, if you haven’t then spoilers-
The scenes where they’re children is kind of sad, they had a very cute and strong relationship that could have grown and blossomed but they just didn’t share the same emotional needs as each other in adulthood. Our empress is very serious and shows her love through her work, she’s basically a workaholic and the emperor is the housewife that is desperate for some love. He has the uttermost faith in the fl but he’s to ...needy. And he makes stupid stupid decisions in desperation. I don’t pity him at all...I just like to understand each character . If they’d sorted out their communication I think trashta would have become a forgotten mistress. One who birthed a child and was sent away. Then banished once everything came out. It’s the fact that there was the rift between the emperor and empress that gave trashta the wedge she needed.
As much as I love the fl love interest I think he’s the “perfect” man. He’s bold and outspoken, daring and ballsy. He’s the man that she needs. He’ll call her out on her bullcacky and demand the love he deserves lol. This story is basically how two childhood sweethearts couldn’t call it quits once they’d outgrown each other.

I think the emperor and the empress aren’t in a love relationship. More of a friendship kind of thing, I could be wrong but they seem to love each other but not be in love with each other. Business partners I think. And this is why she’s so chill, it seems she knew about the mother, and her husband having a mistress’s. She didn’t seem to care and even wrote about the other woman. I could be wrong in this though, but it’s refreshing. Maybe she’d have reacted differently if fl was a boy. As it stands though the fl is no threat to her children, and her husband seems to love the child, as well as her own children. She legit has no reason to be a bish. She’s also not what I was expecting but she’s better.

Or he knows she’s a girl, I suspect it’s that he knows she’s a girl, he hides his intelligence with his “dumb” persona. He knew that the girl was a witch despite her own father not realising so he’s very perspective.

I totally feel bad for the bad. As far as he’s aware he’s never had sex, so for everyone to suddenly doubt him and to just accept her must be hard for him. Not only does he now have a daughter, but his reputation is also stained. Like apart of me hopes that she’s not his. I do want him to be her father, but maybe not through the traditional means yknow? You don’t have to have been apart of the baby making to be a parent.
On another note I could see it being that he was cursed or something to forget the woman he’d been in a relationship with. But then it begs the question why did no one else know about this relationship? And he seems to honourable so I couldn’t see him having sex before marriage. I think it’s more plausible that she’s created from dark magic if I’m being honest. Or that he’s got a twin somewhere out there.

Being honest I don’t know so if anyone has any spoilers please spoil me.

I don’t ship her with either men and here’s why.
The knight, he just needs to find someone who makes him feel normal, and that’s our FL. she fancies him, but she doesn’t see him in a romantic way. And he’s the same. I see a legit, opposite sex friendship blossoming. And then the duke, the reason he’s a no is he’s not actually powerful enough to take down the prince. He wouldn’t make a “power” couple with our fl. plus he only sees her as a pawn to use. They’ll probably become good friends and he’ll back her up.
The brown haired one- now he’s someone who will be her equal. He’s got a royal lineage so check. He’s caring about his friends, check. He didn’t fall for the dits....check. He’d be a real threat combined with the fl. she has a strong family background to support her, IF they come out of hiding. Then he has his family background. Plus the other characters supporting them. And tbh I ship him more because he seems like he’s not a loner like all the other guys. I live for his caring side. Cold guys are getting annoying. “Cold to everyone but the girls like bruh...”

But I’m shipping nine with our fl. I think poor (yuri?) needs a break from all this “romance” to discover who she is outside of this story. Seems to me she’s lived this life over and over and has lost who she is and just accepts it now. She doesn’t even love her ml anymore. She just wanted out, the poor thing.
