I did think it odd that she didn’t want him harmed, I’d at least have him suffer even a little bit of the same twisted/torture of “love” and “protection” that makes her genuinely afraid and has led to her eating disorder in her second life as well. Because he's in love with his sister obviously he hates that her husband got her everything without even trying when he's worked her to be so fearful and obedient to him and so that he can have her to himself.

Yep I got that. But the part where you mentioned the obedience he conditioned into her and that he hasn’t acted on any attraction/sexual impulses he’s had may be frustrating from his view. That he’s giving up so much, plus since she’s iskaied and didn’t know at first what was going on she tried to strengthen her family bonds.

Because if he was harmed he'll make some fucked up excuse to blame her husband then take her back since he'd done it so many time!!

I hate how much sense that makes of course she doesn’t want war breaking out. I think in the OG story some war broke out right? At least her other brother didn’t seem as bad from my memory, he just appeared hot tempered…I wonder if her other brother would be a better Pope?
