bruh everything goes downhill after this

he gets into a car accident and goes into coma. doesn't wake up for a week or so. liangjue is DEVASTATED. he also learns about his birthday. (he even finds and eats the cake alone it was so sad)
and then, wei suddenly disappears from the hospital, just vanishes in thin air. liangjue goes mad searching for him, he isn't caught in any cctv cameras either

turns out, wei goes back to his own world. apparently wei getting into accidents is somehow the key to his travelling between two worlds. when he disappeared from the hospital, he had just woken up from his coma. he runs into a very nice gentleman who is very concerned about wei. i mean, who wouldn't be, he's literally in the middle of the road, disoriented, in a hospital gown, bare feet. the dude gets him some food. and buys him a pair of slippers. wei sees him hold a bouquet of flowers, which starts the conversation about their respective beloveds. the guy looks so happy and in love (he's on the older side)
he was actually on his way to meet her. wei feels bad and tells him to go. the guy was reluctant to leave him like that, but wei insists

i forgot how this part happens, but he sees the guy running up happily to a woman and he looks at her... only to see that it's his mother. he's bewildered. but he chooses not to go up to her. he finds his way back home, only to find it abandoned and dusty. he finds the family portrait broken. he goes to his room (everything is kept intact— dusty but intact), finds his phone, turns it on and it literally blows up. he reads some updates. AAAAAGH I FORGOT HOW THIS PART HAPPENED BUT he basically figures out everything that happened when he was gone. his parents tried everything to look for him, but after a few months, their already strained marriage reached a breaking point. they divorced, and are no longer in contact with eachother. living new lives respectively. the guy he was on a blind date with? he found a new match, and got happily married. his friends also moved on with their lives. the beta who hated him because wei did better than him and took all the spotlight from him at the workplace? now that wei was gone, he finally succeeded, got praised for his work. got recognition, whatever

everyone had seemingly started living a better life when wei disappeared. it hurt to read, the author wrote it like wei's existence in that world was nothing but a thorn that was finally removed. he was so heartbroken.
now I've written too much and now I feel lazy so I'm just gonna say he gets into like a minor "accident" idk something bumps into him, and he goes back to the 'normal' world. liangjue finds him and WOOO HAPPY ENDING
why is this getting worse and worse? and why is the author obsessed with kids getting turned on or something??? like how long will you dwell on this topic????? it's been like 8 chapters that they've been talking about dirty stuff. the black haired kid feels like such a self insert. it's getting more and more uncomfortable to read. I'm out, man. i feel so bad for You.
