yaoi has it's own heap of problems, and the "i can't control myself anymore seme" is quite a bad trope too, like he's just a beast in heat rather then a human being with reason and morals
The problem is that to her the highschoolers are basically children, 40 years difference is a hell of a lot. It . . .bothers me. Why is she even attracted to him?? To me the normal reaction would be if she went " oh how energetic and adorable these kids are", not the blushing crush that we got
And of course she wouldn't go for a grandpa, that would make the grandpa feel like a pedo. Even if she were to explain it to him, it would be like . . . why not approach her when she was old, why only now that she's a teen?
