You should read I became the mother of the villain it’s very similar to this. The main character becomes the step mother of the future villain of a novel
I suggest you read 'A stepmother's Marchen,' it's about a young woman married to an older noble who already had 5 children. The noble died and left the children in her care. The story is about her building relationships with the children, and it's all very heartwarming.
And, while I am reluctant to say this, having read both 'I became the mother of the villain' and 'A stepmother's Marchen,' it is very clear that the mother in the first does not truly know what being a mother means and only knows how to cry/speak for her child without thinking about the child's thoughts and why things are happening the way they are. However, one's opinions are merely opinions, and you may read both if you wish and see which you enjoy.
:( noooooooo that one is nowhere near as good as this one. While both have stepmother protagonists, “I raised Cinderella” has the realistic nuance of a woman trying to navigate a difficult time in her family’s lives and the expectations of society.
“I became the villains mother” on the other hand feels a lot less developed, she kinda raises her son like an abused toddler Pokémon and then- oh my gosh everybody loves her except the bitches who don’t
I still read both comics tho so ╮(￣▽￣)╭
Just be warned, if “Cinderella’s mom” is 5star, “villains mom” is like 2.5 star
You might like reading “Pandora’s choice” instead. It’s one of the best full color webcomics I’ve ever read and It feels like it was written for older audiences.

This is fun. Especially since the MC is such a Mystery. Like we Don’t know his Name or age, exept he is older than 18.
We know almost nothing about his life in Japan or what his real persona is. Like. Its so interesting how the Author made a main character that is unknown but still in every chapter. And you Don’t even realise that you Don’t know anything untill someone point it out.

i just figured it out but i think his age is somewhat 30+ because the knight woman is 18 and when she found out she looks like she apologized to mister. so i guess double her age
He is male from Japan. I agree, that he must be at least 30 and very intelligent. Or 25 and very very intelligent and really likes reading. Probably a well sociolized introvert? He knows people, he knows social and psychological games. You need real life experience for that. But probably also food for thought a. K. A. Book knowledge. Both facts and fiction literature.
So. At first I thought this was pretty generic normal type of martial arts manga I have read million but i’m really supprised. The Romance feels natural, the mc is funny and strong. Of course there is basic troupes but overall I feel I haven’t read anything quite like this. There is unique flow in the story that is hidden behind the tropes and I love i.
i''ll wait for more chapters until I know that Luka is gonna step down and be less annoying and that the Elf boy will be the ML. It won't do if it is Luka. I find him just super annoying. That type is hard to make likable and since this is pretty mediocre manga so far, i dislike him even more

Yeah True. I just can see him being annoyingly protective and glingy as a grown up too and would hate that in charas. They are, to me, usually most manipulative ones.
