at first when I read it I didn't like her because she abandoned her kid but then u know the story afterwards gave an insight to her feelings and how's she's refused at everything and is unable to make her own choices. I know she's a mother but she's a person too. Her priorities should come before anything. Just because she's a mother u can't expect her to look at the household and kids. I kind of get the feeling but at the same time I feel bad for the son?
Same bruh...but I love the story for it complex plot and in depth discussions of the mentality of women in that time and the responsibilities they were expected to uphold just goes to show in that time period women didn't have a choice and she didn't want to get married in the first place but did it to protect her family since she need strong support to overcome the enemies they had...at the same time her sister was going through a rough patch which made her quite anxious as well as her pregnancy...I feel that if both harsen and herself communicated their feelings they would've been able to overcome this situation but that is easier said than done if we put ourselves in their shoes we probably would've stayed quite not to mention her depression and suppression from doing what she loved...of course vincente never did anything wrong and deserved love and affection but atleast she saw what she did was wrong and did better which actually takes a great person to do many people will do wrong and never admit it much less want to do better
Also on harsen's part i feel bad, to be referred to as best choice is really demeaning especially since you can see that he cares for her, maybe if he showed it a little more it would've had a better outcome and he gave up a lot for her including giving up his family's neutrality to support the marquis family who supported the second prince as well and accept their enemies, he really did deserve something better but they need to communicate and he needs to act like he cares for their relationship to blossom but personally I think a divorce would be better and do both of them some good since their mental states aren't in the best shape
