wow this is so beautiful I want much much more. I saw chapter 7 came out at the end of last year. I've skimmed through the chinese raws up to 6 with my limited knowledge and this story really hits with its realism and emotion. The two of them are both so mentally injured yet so sincere to their emotions.
so by the end i had no idea wtf was happening but i was still reading the updates lol anyone in the same boat...?
Haha yeah this was a pretty complicated story to follow but it was still good (⌒▽⌒)
So i read the few chaps avail here and it piqued my interest so I decided to just binge read the novel in one day LOL. My thoughts overall is that it was an ok read,neither amazing nor overly boring, if you're interested go for it and read it.

I made it through the whole novel but at times I was a little bored. The character development wasn't that great and the development between the FL and ML was kinda mediocre. I didn't really love him nor hate him, it seemed she piqued his interest and he suddenly was madly in love with her and willing to do anything for her. Their moments together didn't get me excited really and felt lacking in some way. As did the revenge story. There are some plot holes which due to the supernatural aspect of the story and things that aren't addressed really which would make it more realistic. I see some similarities in plot of this webnovel and another Chinese one called 'Rebirth of the Malicious Empress of Military Lineage' (which is brutal and not for the faint of heart and also basically a revenge plot after reawakening) but this lacked the clarity and development of feelings that the latter did which seemed so natural and made me inwardly squeal of joy.
Plotwise(MAJOR SPOILERS):
FL later discovers she has the ability to turn back time 5 minutes/day and uses it in conjunction with what she knows of the future in order to succeed in gaining power and capital and overtake the siblings. She spends a good chunk of the book in the beginning trying to win over Mielle's fiance in order to steal him from her. She succeeds but Oscar is threatened by his sister to marry Mielle since FL is 'low-born from (crown prince) and the two start to fall for each other. At first ML mistakes her identity for Mielle and sends lots of presents but is later corrected. (ML has a supernatural power as well where he can basically teleport.)
Later on she uses Mielles plots against her and Mielle becomes a criminal for pushing their father the count down the stairs and making him virtually a cripple. Eventually Mielle is acquitted and she teams up with her fiances sister to stage a rebellion from the aristocratic party with the neighbouring country's King. (Little do they know the King and the Crown Prince our ML are in it together.)
Later on Mielle failed another on of her plots and kills her brother instead. She's finally put to death. FL discovered her fathers actually an aristocrat in the neighbouring country and she has noble lineage FL and ML get together and get married.
Same. It took me 3days to finished the novel.
I'm happy thay you were able to pointed out mc's character development. At the last part of the novel, it was endearing to see mc and her biological family.
Thanks for the spoil. I agree that it's pretty mediocre. In fact, imo, it's on the lower end of spectrum on the quality of 'revenge' novels I read so far. The shitty grammar is also probably one of the biggest turn offs for me and thankfully I don't have to read to the end to reach the conclusion. I'll be dropping this novel at ch 128 cuz in my personal opinion, it's not worth it.
Wait, if she gets together with the crown prince, what will happen with Oscar? Is he just a side chara who will fade to the sidelines pretty fast?
if you really enjoyed this one, maybe you should check out the one I mentioned above, the revenge plot is so seriously satisfying!

Another reason I didn't feel this novel tied up loose ends properly in any way was that Oscar was just like dropped like a hot potato LOL. After he's 'threatened' by his sister to marry Mielle and FL gives up on pursuing him, he kinda only appears whenever Mielle visits their house and has either no or little dialogue at all. We don't see him struggling to come to terms with anything, and he just stands on the sidelines while his sister stages her rebellion. Only at the end of the novel when everything comes to light and his family gets executed he speaks up and reveals the names of the people involved and escapes death does he actually do something. Theres like no resolution of his supposed feelings towards FL. Kinda wasteful since he was in like a good quarter of the whole novel imo?
the only redemption i see from this now is River fucking grows a bone unlike his past human self and becomes a boss ass God and beats Khaols fatass and finds his happy ending (with Heil pref pls)
wow, this story was such a breath of fresh air. I loved how it highlighted and discussed mental illness as a serious issue.

The only lighthearted part I felt this entire chapter.
