So for the longest time i didn't have an inkling to read the novel and i decided on a whim and whewwwwww it is a loooong ride (still ongoing) Decent read but a little draggy as we continue imo.
Maybe i'll come back to this in like 5 years and find this not even caught up lol.
as much as a love this manga and it's initial kinda dive into tibetan culture i'm not particularly enjoying the delve into political natures as plot device. Yes, this was a sad historical time, but there are always two sides of a coin, one often not shown. The way they drew the Chinese men made me physically cringe.
