True, quite a few yaoi artists ARE women, but it’s not an exclusive rule that they have to be a woman in order to create yaoi. Manga and all its sub genres is a form of art. Narrative preferences differ among people, which is why it’s important to not interject personal bias into art. You can certainly have your personal preferences, but don’t yuck someone else’s yum because that piece resonates positively to them.

I wouldn't put rape in the same level as a personal preference. It's okay to respect our differences but if in a story that they include rape as jokes or something horny, they're crossing a boundary there. If we don't question we are normalazing that people use rape in romantic o comical way and I can't agree with that, sorry

It’s fine to disagree. I think the coercive / rape / power exchange tropes have their place in fiction. Sometimes it’s a preference, sometimes it’s a plot device. But it’s fiction at the end of the day.

The original point I was countering, which I deciphered from the spelling and grammar errors, is that, “ yaoi is supposed to be written by women. How can women get horny off this?” To which - that’s an assumption that Tami artists are always women and that women have a strict narrative preference to follow.
I didn’t negate the existence of a real life issue what I said was that rape tropes have their place in fictional pieces. This WEBTOON is fiction. You can be bothered by reading it. But I still answered the question of how can women get some enjoyment reading this? Because people have preferences.

Hi thanks for letting me know but I'm not sure if that's right the only thing I've seen talking about canon events is that this isn't canon to real Greek mythology and from reading the chapters It isn't suggested anywhere that it wasn't canon and it wouldn't seem fitting to add it in the story right in the middle without telling ppl what is and isn't real how I could be wrong but it seems that what the author wrote is just part of the story unfortunately since it's a occurring theme that's there is tonnnes of rape by lots of ppl which had I known I wouldn't of read but there is apparently a non mature version where they rape isn't actually shown which I defo would've preferred thanks for the info though
