like not to attack the author but out of all the character designs they could’ve come up with- they HAD to make the two Mcs look like Joowon and Haesoo (yes i do have a grudge against Joowon and Haesoos relationship) like i can’t stop thinking of them when i read this. but ya know- i ain’t ever made a comic before so i don’t know how hard things can be, but like again, they couldn’t have made the characters look DIFFERENT? i mean, it’s probs just their art style??

this is a remaster. the original fools manhwa came out before love or hate did. in my opinion they DO look different. eungi has black hair, double eyelids and jungwoo has brown hair, no piercings, a different eyecolor, and i can go on. they don’t look similar to the characters in love or hate in that regard. i don’t understand how they are similar looking enough to the point where you are constantly reminded of joowon and haesoo. it is fair to say that they have a resemblance because of the art style but this is common within all manhwas and mangas and anyone who has an art style. there are easily discernible differences between their designs. please don’t say “not to attack the author” because that just implies you’re attacking the author who worked incredibly hard on this. you’re free not to read it if it gives you a bad taste.
But isn’t that the point?? Fools came out first and Haesoo and Joowon look nothing like the the MC’s from the original Fools. But here they look exactly like them.
yeahhhh that^ but i did go back and read a bit (to remind myself) the MCs in Fools have the same hairstyles as haesoo and Joowon- but still they couldn’t have made them look a BIT different in the remaster? but ofc no hate again to the authors- i haven’t made a comic before so i wouldn’t know how hard it is
honestly, i think it’s just the art style. if you draw them without hair the faces pretty much look the same because eungi and joowon have a “mature” looking face and haesoo and jungwoo have younger looking faces. i don’t think it’s intentional for them to look like parallels, nor do i think the author is a bad artist, they just have a similar dynamic if that makes sense
