In fact, he's similar to the MC (gyeong-hee?) In his loss and sympathy; the only contrast is that he's a demon. This makes me think that the author might go for them because of the similar dynamic or they might not because a similar type of couple is already written and go the did route.
...if anything, I want Jin-Young to be with him because both the doctor and him deserve happiness.
Jin young already had an unrequited love for years and has never once moved on for his own happiness.
