94 chapters and no development whatsoever. Also since she is the princess of another country she just forgets them and was like no i dont want this and yadayada and then boom, she does all of this for the ml? and lets see how all of them at the end will forgive her for not stepping up.
Uh, she avoided execution by giving up her title and running away… why would she go around telling her enemies that she’s the princess when she has no resources, no army and no power left??? She’s just trying to help because she cares about civilians and friends, even if it benefits the ”enemy country” which is now her own home. Why is that not progress? You just want them to kiss and get married?
so far so good but i feel the mc is being annoying, like i get being shy and all that, but it comes to a point… But its your typical trope. Somewhere along the line mc will stop working and will have to be formal and noble -.-
for a time it will be like that (fl trying to conform), but there will be a whole ass part that will tackle just that (fl will be the inventor she was meant to be)... the title basically sums up the story how being saved by the prince (salvation) can be cruel ( it was the same salvation that became her shackles cause she cant have the freedom to do what she wants cause the ML was too overprotective)
rest assured the ML for me was a green flag ( there are just some things that was part of his personality like ingrained to his mind as royalty so sometimes he says harsh things to the FL) what i like about this is that its very realistic ml wont change in a blink of an eye... really loved how he realizes that he became the shackles that chains the fl and how he accepts it and changes... in the end he became like a shadow over the FL... he lets her shine and do her own thing while supporting her in the sidelines... this was actually one of the best novels i read recently
The title is also a play on words about how Noah was also saved by Olivia and since she was his salvation the cruelty of the manner in which the first encountered came back to haunt Noah and he realized however much intentional and good his actions were Olivia the subject can see and feel that to be cruel
I love how everyone grew emotionally even the side characters! We saw the main characters through so many different lens too! Some were frustrating and narrow whilst with others we were able to see the two leads’ special natures and what made them so charismatic
I just loved how they also represented each others’ folly and how by realizing that they were able to overcome their vices!
Also be ready to frustrated!! It really tackled the issue of gender and classism. Like in depth.
Overall a fantastic read!!
okay so i read a spoiler saying the ml is abusive towards mc once he finds him, but omg really? after learning what the mc went through and how he lived ??
At this point im not even mad at leshak for what he will do, but at the writer for that poor writing and plot. Like im all for justified violence if its in the character, but making leshak be violent for “angst” is just poor writing when we have alr established him to be especially kind to radan. He wasnt violent to radan when they first met, wasnt even cruel verbally, and they chose to make him abusive now that he had learned more of the radan’s traumatic past and circumstances? Ruined a great story tbh

only took him 76 chs and multiple SA scenes for him to realize. Boohoo you whore
is that a mean girls reference
