Don’t get me wrong, that white haired guy is a manipulative turd, but he had “the look” you know?
I feel like he caught feelings near the end of her life- I could be wrong, it’s pure gut instinct, but the only times I’ve ever seen that pitiful stare in mangas were when the love interest(s) were heartbroken.

This is purely opinional, and everything I’m about to say shouldn’t deteriorate you from reading because it’s a genuinely good story, however, I’ll admit I have a few issues here and there. ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
It’s a fun concept- one well thought out, but not so well executed, to put it bluntly.
It’s kind of rushed, the story often switches from third to first person from panel to panel, and the translation is a bit off. When describing the fl, it often feels as though we’re stacking books without any prior information, (i.e “Charlize has fairy blood” “Charlize is a top notch swords-woman” “Charlize is the same as Dylan” “Charlize is-) etc, it just feels majorly repeated ya know? Please don’t take this to heart- it’s purely constructive criticism from an outside perspective, but it is good so far. Just needs to be tweaked a bit...
