the most frustrating part is that Nocton thinks as well that he hypnotised Duroa and that is the only reason she stayed with him and doesn't want to lose her by calling her first name. swear I'm so tired of the FL assuming things and not talking, asking questions, anything. but you know why? because she always thought about herself the entire time so she never thinks to maybe listen to Nocton or ask questions. all the time she spends together with him she just tries so hard to gain his favour but never once stops to maybe figure him out deeper. maybe she started to get attached to him along the way at some point but even then she only ever thought about her feelings and never asked his. not saying he is a saint cause there's a lot to be desired in his behaviour too but he isn't the one who is made out to be the good guy but Duroa even though she might be worse than him

At the beginning they did a poor show of her realizing her shallow attitude but that's all they did. They told us through her thoughts not showed us. Also, the original was killed for trying to murder Alice, right? So now that ur in that position u can make the right choices, like does she really think she's still going to assassinate Alice. She shouldn't have even approached Nocton when she wasn't 100% sure of his part in the story. Also who the hell, forgets the male lead of the story. She should've just tried to make a deeper relationship with Alice.

Exactly if she was 100% certain she could convince the lonely guy who's obviously attacking her character then why can't she do the same with the kind and accepting Alice. It's so obvious the author is just forcing that kind of mindset to put her together with the male lead. She should've just give up when she realized she was being abused as a friend. Like would a ml really have that kind of personality. At the beginning, Alice seemed to sincerely like her. So why didn't she jump onto that boat instead of settling for being abused by him. Like the author is seriously degrading her mental capabilities just to establish a relationship with the ml. And I don't like that type of obvious forced relationship.
