Well there was another reason her mom hid her real gender but you find out a lot later in the story and I don't want to spoil it for you! Also her mom can't divorce her father yet because she is fighting to keep her daughter as heir to the family business. It's complicated but she has absolutely no love for him at this point. Unfortunately now that Spade Z has lived so long as a boy it would be difficult to suddenly announce she was a girl.

This was a-maz-ing!!!! And there's still enough story to accentuate on to do a continuation. Like what ended up happening to a bunch of certain people, and in/to those two places. Everything was in disarray when it was cut off at that point. And it looks like this was loved so much by so many, that everyone would LOVE to see a sequel to it. I know I would!

Honestly, I put off reading this for far too long because I confused it with another one that looked very angsty. I only remember from the spoilers it was where the person was dragged into an underground level area, and it was being forced upon him. The setting was the same, so I thought that was THIS one. I was so wrong! I should have read this sooner. I put it off for nothing. Because THIS type was the only type I was wanting to read at that time. LOL!
