I feel bad for Jian, he literally has no one with his best interest at heart. His mother is abusive, Hajoon is using him as a lab rat for his drugs, his main love interest (Jin) is set on ruining his life, his brother doesn't particularly care about him, his family including grandpa doesn't give a fuck and he has no relationship with his bio dad.
I really hope he gets a happy ending and gets away from all this. At first he seemed like a villain but it actually looks like he cares about Jitae and is set on a self destructive path for himself. Poor dude

I don't get people who read till chapter 5 expecting this story to not be dark and full of rape, literally in the first chapter he's getting forced against his will. The chapter 1 has clear trigger warning, in 3 of the comments at the very top mention it having noncon, top tags has rape and even in the cover you can guess what you're about to read.
If you still read it past chapter 1 you're just unbelievably clueless.

If I read correctly it’s one of the other rich dudes, that the group is friends with. There was a line where he saw MC and was like “hey we look pretty similar don’t we?” Or smth on the lines of that.

Rapist likes MC but because MC slept with 1 of the 3 guys in their friend group, that's when all this shit started. Rapist doesn't know or acknowledge that he likes MC too. He gets him gangraped but gets jealous when MC so much as makes eye contact with other guys.
He likes the MC, that's why he gets more pissed off when the MC is going off about how he'll please the other rapist/get along with his other friends thinking it's what he wants. But the main thing pushing this plot forward is everybody just having no communication skills. So the MC thinks that the ML wants him to act like a doll and please his friends (tbf its because how he pushed the third friend to have sex with the MC/how he calls him a slut and keeps going on about pleasing men) And the ML is getting violent and punishing him for sleeping with other men/"seducing" other men because he want the MC for himself but will never say that, he just expects the MC to fall in line since he conditioned him that way not understanding that the MC has no clue thats what he wants

Even if the Prince is a bad person, he's such an entertaining character. He's just like how I would imagine a evil, selfish king of the old days to be like.
There are a lot of male leads who authors try to portray as charming villainous characters but most of them don't feel as powerful and shrewd but at the same time cruel like the Prince here.
