I have been reading this manga for the past 10 yrs and its still pretty much the same. I hope it gets an ending before I die at least lol.
Ren has already accepted his past. Kyoko has learned to love herself. Maybe the reason the story is 'dragging' for you and others is because you missed key plot points of the story? Ktbn.

i agree, i also kinda liked the awkwardness cause it felt more normal i guess? they didnt overdo it too much on the reactions as romance manga is well known for, but it was still there, like any normal couple who just started dating, i like it!
