TotCF has one of the best world building, round characters (which you rarely see in manhwas/webnovels) and a well thought out plot. In fact, you can hold the webnovel to the same degree as normal literary narratives. You can tell that the author worked really hard on TotCF. The story may seem simple and brainless to you, but it's more complex in reality. Everything that has happened so far has been a precursor (and a foreshadowing) of the epic that's yet to come. Of course, there are parts of it that seems mainstream, but the author utilises fantasy trope really well. And this shines more as the story progresses.
You probably know by now that most Korean works start great but progressively devolves to something weak and boring to read, this one isn't that kind of manhwa/webnovel. It just keeps getting better.
In the same category of greatness: if you want something different, read 'Life once again, though it's a shame it doesn't have a manhwa yet. And SCOG.

In my opinions the best out there atm aside from this is SCOG and SSS-class suicide hunter. The webnovels are a whole 'nother experience. If the manhwa twists your guts, well, the novel will twist it, pull it out before feeding it to the wolves then putting the scraps back in your body. But maybe that's just me cause I'm a little bitch with uncontrollable feelings.
Ones that haven't been adapted to manhwas would be life once again, dragon poor, duke of pendragon and ending maker. Most could be found on wuxiaworld. Or an aggregator site like novelfull.
