He has always cared about his daughter.

And he hasn’t always treated her like trash. Obviously, his daughter would be scared of him if he did. You are jumping to astronomical conclusions when such things hasn’t even been stated in the story. Something as important as that would clearly be stated. In addition, if he didn’t care about his daughter and treated her like trash as you say, when she bumped into him when he was first introduced he wouldn’t have bothered to call a doctor to make sure he was okay, (even if he said it himself) that shows he cared about his daughter before MC got transmigrated into the villainess step mother’s body. Also, he wouldn’t have ripped the bunny open if he didn’t care about his daughter. This is not sudden behavior just because MC suddenly changed.

I haven’t read the full novel yet, but the FL asks him about this and he confirms Blanche is his daughter. It’s a rumor going around because of how desperate the previous Queen was to have an heir.

Your claims are completely unfounded and have no evidence to prove anything of what you said. There is no evidence that he has ever treated his daughter like trash. That he “never cared” what type of dumb statement is that he only started to care after the step mother changed? He only started to think she completely changed after the whole bunny/bed incident. He saw her menacing looks and thought that she was still the same cruel woman who liked to abuse his daughter. He wasn’t trying to “unmask her” because at that moment he still thought she was the same.

Also, as I said before, a huge telling point that he treated his daughter like trash would be if she was scared of him. His daughter is not scared of him. The only person she was scared of was the step mother. That’s proof enough. And the daughter doesn’t seem to be able to hide her expressions well, so it’s not like you can say “oh she’s pretending because...” no. There is nothing backing what you’re saying and you are just saying all these things because you dislike his character and aren’t even properly looking at his actions.

Um kind of? She was also young, and in the Manhwa it seems that they are portraying her a little different than the Novel. They were both young and both put under a lot of pressure to have an Heir. Keep in mind the most important job for a Queen was to give birth to an heir, she was raised to believe that was most important. So not all the blame can be put on her so I wouldn’t call her a bitch, the fault lies with the adults that forced that kind of pressure on young teens. Miriam was also a victim, she was a victim in a different way from ML but still a victim. *** of course this is just based off the novel, they may change it for the Manhwa***

The wife forced him too, but from what i see she's just echoing the adults's opinion, i haven't read that far, but it's stated that the first wife was as young as the king, so maybe she pushed him to quickly have an heir because she was pushed by the adults too? I mean she's young and her mindset is heavily influenced by the adults, so even though she had a role in forcing him, i think the fault is still on the adults?
