I thought there was 70 chapters stacked up, but no, it’s just the official translation. The group translation was already good so I don’t see the point.

Reading the official translations and the group translations is actually a choice. The officials are the story's systems that the author actually made and the group translations are just the group's understanding of the system. So we can't say that the group's translations are accurate to the story. Why am I even saying this I haven't even read this manhwa yet.

What the fuck is Gege doing… I’m literally assuming everyone is going to die and only one character be alive and then that character (Yuji) will kill Sukuna, but what fucking fun would that be. That would just be a shitty fucking ending with no happiness. Am I supposed to like that? And I will never be over the fact that Gojo is actually dead. I have no hope that he’s going to come back but I thought he would be revived bc his head wasn’t cut off……

I feel like people care about Hestia too much while disregarding Cael’s perspective. Hestia is doing this revenge for her own satisfaction and personal vendetta, and Cael is just going along with it. Cael is the one who’s the victim hereHe’s doing the bare minimum? He literally tried to kill himself and is still healing. They are the ones who drove HIM to the lowest of the lows, to the point he wanted to end his life. I really find it ridiculous to say he’s not trying, when he really is trying his best to heal for Hestia. I think he takes priority.

Yes. Cael is not a vengeful person. We knew this from the get go. His way of “revenge” is being indifferent and nonchalant to those who caused him pain, and living a happy life with his beloved Hestia. He lets them deal with their own business. I genuinely cannot fathom how people thought he still loved Diana just because he didn’t want her *spoiler* deposed. So ridiculous. I can understand being upset that Diana didn’t get the suffering they wanted her to get, but will never understand thinking Cael still loves her.

What is it with childhood friends and trying to control the female lead’s autonomy when it’s too late? Pack your shit and leave, it’s just fucking annoying. Boohoo waa waa you couldn’t get the girl and now you want to pursue her when it’s too late. Get your pity party out of here it just pisses me off you stupid fucker.

Yeah this! It's so annoying and infuriating. What's more when fans want the fl to get together with 2nd ml because they 'sympathize' with him. They'll list out all the bad qualities of the ml while wilfully ignoring the 2nd ml's. I don't know if you know, but it's the same with an ongoing anime, a sign of affection, there are so many people hating on the ml and the fl because they prefer the 2nd ml and fl's definitely not choosing that controlling asshole. I'm literally so baffled because the ml is so good actually but they prefer the other dude ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍.
Kotaro's trying to control her in the name of duty. It's so obvious it's personal. I don't care about your feelings dude if this is how you're gonna treat her.

He is. Don’t even get me started. Actually, you got me started. Respectfully, Oushi does demonstrate clear patterns of trying to control the female lead in problematic ways. For example:
Wanting her caged and hidden away denies her autonomy and comes from a lens of ableism regarding her disability. Regardless of caring intent, restricting someone's freedom of choice is always an act of seeking control over them.
His jealousy and sense of entitlement to her attention also reveals a controlling mentality. Love should not feel possessive in that manner or demand reciprocation of feelings without consent.
Infantilizing her communication creates unhealthy dependency, rather than directly establishing means for her to express herself independently.
In these examples, his behavior directly stems from a desire to dictate choices for her rather than respecting her agency to navigate situations herself. That urge to protect by controlling another person’s rights is harmful no matter if fiction or reality.
I understand feeling defensive about a character you connect to. But recognizing unhealthy, problematic behaviors like his is important.
While heartbreak explains his emotions, it does NOT justify the projection of control, claim and entitlement onto her autonomous being. She owes him nothing just because he loves her.

I don't know what to tell you but yeah he is, among other things. If he was the ml people would be calling their relationship toxic and say he's a red flag but apparently because he's the 2nd ml they pity him instead and somehow become blind to his faults.
And that's only the most recent example I could think of. Most 2nd mls are like this that's why I never like them.
I don’t really like the new father. I don’t really like the old one either, but I like him better than the new one. (He lowkey got what he deserved (?) in spoilers… but still.) I like the siblings. I really like Nasar, even if he’s boring, and wanted her to break down her walls a little bit. Low-key wanted her to stay in the palace and retain a good relationship with old dad… Reading spoilers, I’ll drop. This story has too much drama for me, and it isn’t even satisfying drama… on top of being a bit generic (imo) not in a good way. Too much drama makes me lose interest. Also the spoiler regarding original fl is so boring…. I notice I hate runaway stories, but I thought I would like this one bc the rating was high. But I don’t… So now that I know what happens in the end, it’s not a satisfying story that I want to stick around for.
Well I don't like any of the fathers but I do like the brothers
