Ngl, what the emperor did, is worse than rape.
The mom did do that, but everything she did to the emperor I don't consider it a sin but payback, though what she's done to Etienne and other innocents that's bad and abusive.
We can forget what she did to the emperor cause he's a pathetic bastard who used her and he deserves it.

I think no one deserves to be rape except rapists. the emperor used the empress but the one thing he didn't consider is that he can't just throw her away like a used toy. He was greedy for the throne because that's the only way he could marry the love of his life since he is just an illegitimate child. the ducal family won't let him marry one of their children so I think he got desperate and made a deal with a devil. It's just that he overestimated his self that he thought the empress was inlove with him like some usual dumb villainesses in pre isekai manhwas so he thought he could just say ' Hey I'm in live with someone so bye bitch' which I think is pretty stupid on his part

I would probably agree with you if this was an IRL opinion, like if an innocent person got raped, that would be awful, thankfully this is a story with characters who are both criminals, in this story he used somebody, meaning to throw them away as you said before, just to stay with the one they love, btw did she say she took his v card? I think she did it so he wouldn't be able to cheat her, after all he did marry her, and abused her so in these consequences, what can I say, he genuinely deserves it, still I respect your opinion and why you might think in that manner, I can also see her side, the way to hurt him the most, the way to make sure he wouldn't abandon her is to have his child, yet he wouldn't even look at her, he was probably going to get rid of her too, blame her for everything she did for him, he is too arrogant as you said, and she needing to survive had that one option that she thought of, so I don't blame her, the fact she hurt the emperor who is a horrible character in general, I don't feel bad for him, many people have been way too used to thinking that murder isn't as bad as rape, but murder is worse, because once you're dead, you have no more chances, no more hope, no more life, being raped is awful and I know what I'm talking about since oh shokers who would've guessed I went through it. Of course I know what it's like, most of us do, yet we're still alive, that is the only good thing I got from it, it hurts but I am beyond grateful I still have my life, some people get killed after getting raped, they are given no chances to ever get back up and perhaps break the ones who harmed them, that is horrible. Still, this is just a fictional story so I mean, so many yaois have way worse, i can't even read it yet the peeps in the comments just love it, go talk to them who despise it, imagine i actually got hate from people for saying I hate her 8/9 while I hate him (the emperor) 9/9 since I met people like him irl and they're horribly evil. I don't think she needed to survive though. Empress or not their family is the most powerful. And the emperor can't get rid of her that easily because he noticed too late that's why he married her and thought that they could like 'Let's have an open marriage ' which is stupid and I get why the empress is frustrated but she doesn't need anything to survive. She's the only dominant omega at that time in the whole kingdom so many suitors would kneel before her. Heck even the other kingdom would even accept her. She's that popular and powerful, not just that suited to the throne. But she's greedy and wanted it. So she done everything to reach her goals which not only harmed her son but harmed anyone else. That's why I get that the emperor wouldn't even look at his child. Like when you reverse the roles it's the most horrible thing to do. The child has.no fault in that, but there still that lingering feeling which is hate. As rape victims, it's normal to feel hate to the child that was result of rape. Actually if a rape victim didn't he/she had a strong mentality for that which I really applaud. Though its sad that the emperor is a fragile coward greedy arrogant imbecile. The emperor probably also greedy to have a poly relationship which is fckd up. And I don't think the former duke would even marry him since I think he was an alpha?(can't seem to remember and besides MTL sucks)

Sure, honestly I don't actually want to think about it too deeply since in the end it's not a big deal, I mean, it's a story so the author will spin it the way they want to so we could all be wrong in the end hhh, well tbh I do see your point, I just assume that we all have our differences, like they're just characters and are both evil, so hate them is not a big deal, honestly I think I was probably detailing my comment so much since some idiots responded to me before and they were so disrespectful when in that comment all I said is that I hate her and feel bad for Etienne and Rishard since they're good, just that she's definitely worse imo, y'all can have your own opinions, I did learn that for some people they really do think that being raped is worse than dying....I just want to say one thing.i assure you it isn't. And I know what I'm talking about. The people who responsed before probably know nothing about it, and I don't need to swap genders, I don't have double standards, we have also seen it in other stories where literal duke families got blamed for treason when they did nothing at all, and all went to ruin, I even think she said it in one of the earlier chapters, well whatever, it still honestly isn't that big of a deal, just a story.
