Maybe that is the only redeeming quality of him. But for the empress she's the most unredeemable bicth that i wanted to drag her body six feet to the ground and her sould to the deepest of hell and laugh maniacally as she burn.

I think no one deserves to be rape except rapists. the emperor used the empress but the one thing he didn't consider is that he can't just throw her away like a used toy. I would probably agree with you if this was an IRL opinion, like if an innocent person got raped, that would be awful, thankfully this is a story with characters who are both criminals, in this story he used somebody, meaning to throw them away as you said before, just to stay with the one they love, btw did she say she took his v card? I don't think she needed to survive though. Empress or not their family is the most powerful. And the emperor can't get rid of her that easily because he noticed too late that's why he married her and thought that they could like 'Let's have an open marriage ' which is stupid and I get why the empress is frustrated but she doesn't need anything to survive. Actually the relationship between the OG FL and the OG villainess is the friendship between me and my friends. We degrade each other's dreams at first but at the end we cheer up and still support each other. Just like how OG villainess mock OG FL's dream then suddenly saying "maybe who knows it could happen" and then when the OG FL said that she would like to change after she died and live the OG villainess be like "I will be there when you wake up." Which is so casual and cute for me.
I like how the author never forget that she's a reincarnator from Korea. I kind of disappointed at first when I thought they just focus on her past life as a Lombardi that kinda fading the details that she is originally from Korea. But that idea made me realize that the author still remember.
