The water god is scary and I feel that subrara is a much better option. The reason why suburara is so scary is because he had to become strong and protective. No one liked asahi and would easily abandon and abuse her because she is different. I feel so sad for asahi, it's so emotionally draining and traumatic for her to experience that kind of treatment at a young age. I feel that suburara can connect and sympathise with her and can help her out during tough times. Since no one wants to befriend asahi suburara had to be the one to protect her no matter what. Suburara seeing what his mother and sister are made him more isolated and it seems that he can't trust anyone. The water god I don't like very much. He put asahi through all that pain and suffering, she could've lived a happy life and we know that he can send her home. But the way he sadistically played with her I got angry. I hate it, I don't care if he is becoming more sympathetic towards her I just hate the fact that he took an innocent child and put her through that pain. How do you expect someone who destroyed her life and expect her to fall in love without thinking of what he did. Ok, I don't hate people who ship those two together i just don't understand why. Also if you have the time please tell me why you ship them! I might be convinced and join your ship.
