I wonder how the categories yaoi and shounen ai can coexist in the same manga, I saw many tagged as both like this one, but isn’t the point of yaoi boys love with explicit sex scenes and shounen ai boys love without explicit sex? But I guess it’s tagged as both because we don’t know which one this is going to be yet (btw I haven’t read this manga as I’m typing this so I don’t know if in this few chapters it’s enough to know if it’s yaoi or shounen ai)
I dislike the prince, he’s just really annoying right now. About Khalid, he’s the type of character I just love to hate. I’m SO invested in MC’s revenge arc, Khalid does make for a great villain and I’m very interested in seeing how the main character will defeat him. Homegirl please make this boy suffer tenfold what he did to you!

The harem lady doesn’t make me fear much for Kang. I don’t think she’ll be able to do him much harm. What does make me fear for him is when the emperor start demanding for more than paintings…….. we all know it’s eventually heading for that…. I don’t know for how much longer the emperor will be contented with just the paintings.
My heart breaks for Kang already although the emperor has let him know since the beginning that day would come. But who knows, maybe Kang will consent when it comes down to it (although I somehow really doubt that— by maybe is just PTSD from painter of the night speaking—)
