That moment of heartbreak was predictable but it still hurt SO MUCH.

So is Kang Moo jealous of Kirin’s devotion to Seorin? There seems to be a hint of irony when he calls Kirin a responsible boyfriend.
I’m guessing he wanted Kirin to be with him no matter what comes their way or what Kang Moo has to do, even if it’s killing someone. Maybe he felt that the only reason Kirin accepted him was because of his need to revenge Seorin, and Kang Moo was the means to achieve an end. Now that the revenge has been achieved what’s the meaning of Kang Moo to Kirin? Will Kirin not listen to him anymore, will he betray him? I’m guessing that’s what’s been concerning Moo and led to this argument. I don’t think it ever went trough his head Kirin actually even contemplated taking the blame for him.
Kang Moo is also very proud, and apparently hasn’t come to terms that Kirin is indeed his Achilles heel. Being called out by that pervy criminologist about that, I think he’s gonna really give Kirin the cold shoulder now..... I just really hope he won’t contemplate killing him....

Ossan is the best!!! I’d love to see an extra in wich he’s Haruhi’s age though, I’m curious about his younger appearance and how their dynamic would be if they were the same age

When I feel like Yaoi after so many years can’t surprise me anymore

What the? I’m actually sorry for the sister. Imagine this story from her perspective: Tell your brother you like a guy and then your brother goes to your crush behind your back like “if you think I look like my sister and want to kiss me you can UwU” Like heck no, even though this is a yaoi doesn’t mean the Uke is excused for this shady behavior.

    Naomiyaki December 8, 2020 11:07 pm

Honestly yeah but I feel like it’s less of the uke’s fault and more of their childhood friend. I honestly don’t think that the uke sees it as that big of a problem because he has such low self worth that he doesn’t think of himself as his own person than as “inferior natsuna.” He been compared and treated as an inferior her that he actually believes it so it doesn’t matter if they kiss now because the sister is going to get with the hot guy in the end and they’ll all be happy cus even if they did kiss he’s not competition. Feel bad for the both twins honestly.

    Silth December 8, 2020 11:10 pm

I agree, seme is trash but uke is willing to accept his trash behaviour. No one is thinking about the sister's feelings

The manwha is good and super interesting, but I can’t get over the facts I know about Gale from Dark Heaven. If I didn’t know the extent of the stuff he’s done, I would’ve enjoyed this manwha way more.
I know this is a unpopular opinion since most people here seem to really love Gale, but every time I look at him I keep remembering when he tortured and brutally raped two dudes on Dark Heaven. The scenes really disturbed me at the time.
I know that the guys he did this to were “evil”, but it doesn’t make Gale someone who I would ever want to be dating someone nice like Hari. Honestly, every time he interacts with her I’m afraid he’ll flip his switch and do something horrible to her. He said he “doesn’t hurt civilians”, but he’s still a guy who gets off on violence, not the sexy Fifty Shades of Gray kind, more of the psycho Feeding Lamb kind (shudders).
I don’t really understand why the author choose him to be one of the Main leads for this story, but maybe it was because Gale was a popular character somehow.
Still, I can’t see him as worthy of Hari. Gale IS a psychopath who has history of killing, torturing, and raping people, and who greatly enjoys violence, even on a sexual level.
I’ll still keep reading the story tho, because I’m really curious about Hari and her journey!

    Solus December 12, 2020 12:09 pm

I completely agree. However I find his character enjoyable in some ways, as a villain of course. It’s interesting to see how a simple change of perspective can make a character so popular.

Do we know if this is 'canon' in this world?

Cookies December 5, 2020 4:05 pm

I like that the emperor is not super overbearing like what I’ve seen in other novels. He and MC indeed make for a cute couple, I wonder if she’ll choose to stay in this world later..... but then there’s her sister..... I can’t really see him following her to the modern world though.

    Ari December 5, 2020 4:12 pm

Although she said something about time travel happening, I feel like this show is actually a virtual game that can connect to your senses so it feels 'real' like time travel. If this is right then the emperor could also be an actor/player who isn't a contestant. Otherwise, that must be one insanely advanced AI

Hmmm Kainer is hot af but I get oddly weirded out when he keeps saying the sole reason he became a sultan was because of Saya. Maybe that will be explained later and make more sense, because for now, that seems just really exaggerated.
I mean Saya is beautiful and indeed admired him for afar and covered him with blankets and stuff, but to be the SOLE reason he rose to the throne? Honestly, didn't he want the tiniest bit of revenge or seek power? I hope Kainer evolves to have more personality traits asides from liking Saya. I wanna see more of his goals and thoughts asides from stuff related to her.

So I’m happy that for the new chapter we didn’t get to see Jihwa and No name having sex with no screen time for the protagonists or something like that.
But, for what actually happened to the main pair, I’m just.... Oh man.
Nakyum sadly felt into that one cliche route of deciding to not clear up a misunderstanding and suffering because of it, the same as when he didn’t defend himself to the end when Jihwa ruined his painting.
I know that Nakyum is naive and that he’s scared, but this time it’s getting really hard for me to not feel utterly annoyed by him. His lack of wit or just plain common sense to tell the truth in a situation like that is astonishing. Sorry, but that whole hysterical crying instead of defending himself really stopped being cute.
Even if he feared telling on Jihwa (I mean for gods sake he’s gotta know it’s him because of his voice, but even if he doesn’t know, the point is still the same) he could say he was kidnapped and explain everything.
He’s already back at the mansion, he doesn’t see that Seungho would protect him and even avenge him.
I see people getting angry at Seungho, it’s also true that he didn’t believe the evidences of Nakyum not running away even when the servant and the doctor said it, but Nakyum is also at fault for choosing to not explain properly what happened.
I don’t think people noble for having a martyr complex. In crude words, I think they’re dumb, and Nakyum with this whole choosing to suffer instead of talking properly really annoyed me.
The development they were having went several steps backwards with this misunderstanding, and I fear it won’t get better until Seungho knows the truth. A truth that, going by Nakyum’s attitude, will not come to light by his mouth.
Guess we’ll be seeing a lot of psycho Seungho and uselessly crying Nakyum on the next chapters. Honestly, I’m almost cheering for Min or In Hun to come back and do something evil to help set things in motion to help them clear the misunderstanding. At this point external actions will be necessary to get the protagonists heads out of the gutter.
In advance for anyone who got offended by what I said about Nakyum: I still like him and will be accompanying his journey, but still, to love a character doesn’t mean you have to agree to all his actions. For this time, I definitely think Nakyum did very, veeeery wrong.

    Rae December 4, 2020 2:33 pm

I completely agree with you, seungho wouldnt have reacted like that if nakyum told him the truth

Okay so I’ve read a lot of heavy stuff before way worse than this in terms of toxic relationships and violence, but somehow this manga was REALLY triggering to me. I read it until the end, and although there were extremely few actual good couples in this, most of the story was filled with so much cheating it made me really sick. That secondary coupe that the guy marries the Uke as his second wife with the permission of the first was disturbing.
But more disturbing was the secondary couple at the end, seriously the Seme kept messing around with two guys EVERY DAY even when dating his boyfriend, because the “boyfriend was too pure for his mundane everyday lust” and he would only have sex with him after marriage. When the boyfriend finds out the Seme has the gall to say, “but I’m only using them as toilets, you’re my real love!” Seriously, what went trough the authors mind to think this was a good idea for a couple I have no idea. It would be a happy ending if the Uke dumped the Seme, but of course that didn’t happen and everything was forgiven.
Even with one of the main couples, man, what’s up with the whole “anyone can fuck your as long as I’m the first to do so” aaaaaaagh pisses me pff.
Sex Pistols was a very important manga for the yaoi genre, there’s still many references to it in nowadays BL culture, but dude. If abusive and compulsive cheaters characters triggers you, stay the heck away from this.

That couple was seriously so bad I would prefer to never see them again rather than seeing the uke forgiving that awful seme. I'd love to see the seme have a taste of his own medicine and the uke find someone else tho, but don't think that's gonna happen.
About the bitchy cat the only scene with him I actually enjoyed was when the servant dude roasted him saying that the only reason he was around him was because he was obliged to and for him to refrain to think about him when masturbating with his "pathetic" group of friends, I laughed so hard at that xD
