Why do you guys think Seungho tried to choke Nakyum?
Was it because he thought he ran away again and got really angry?
And also, did Seungho not see how his lip was cut and bleedind since he'd been obviously hurt before?

I think he believes Nakyum tried to run away because he couldn't accept his feelings. He probably feels very hurt and betrayed. You can tell from the body language that he is furious, but he doesn't hurt him. He takes him home. OK so he locks him in a shed, but he made sure he had a fire for warmth and even gave him his robe. It's obvious he still cares deeply for Nakyum, he just needs to let the boy explain what happened

I fear that due to POTN's extreme popularity, Lezhin wants to drag the story as much as possible, and I fear that means really long misuderstandings, lengthy plot build ups that don't actually accomplish much and lots of scenes with a secondary couple to make the maximum possible of chapters to sell.
Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love POTN and I'm proud of so many people getting to know this story and even supporting it on the officcial plataform, but I'm worried that this will turn into a soap opera with endless misuderstandings that could be easily solved and way too much sencond character's storylines.
I'd love to see POTN going on for several seasons because this manwha is really special to me, but precisely because it's so special I don't wanna see it take the same path of other Lezhin BL stories that got really popular and went on for so long they kinda ended up losing their way and morphing into a cliche and frustrating sort of telenovela.
There's so much to be explored on POTN. Seungho's and Nakyum's past, imperial and politics related drama, In Hun's villanous comeback, Min's evil plotting, Seungho's father as a final villainous boss, and much more. I hope we'll get to see more onto this instead of Seungho and Nakyum endlessy misuderstanding each other and hurting because of it.

Woah i didn’t say anything about the author being greedy. The original post said that Lezhin might want to drag the story as much as possible and i just simply agreed with it. Lezhin might make a compromise with the author to drag the plot and that surely affects the story. I’m no where near blaming the author I’m talking about Lezhin. And by “opinion needs to be heard by author” i meant that i hope the author does what she wants to do and not let herself affected by Lezhin
I know this story is gonna hurt the heck out of me but I still wanna read it.
I wonder if this ML will get to the level of hateful from the ML of Abandoned Empress? I think the reason I get hooked on these sort of stories is because I’m sadistically into seeing the MC gradually gaining power and the ML eventually suffering for her. I’d hope that to be the case here.
It’s even better if MC finds a better ML out there, but I guess that’s rarely the case.
Looks like they are trying to create a genuine relationship with the King and the MC and he’s not as oblivious or tight lipped as the Emperor in Abandoned Empress. I can’t tell if they are going to fall in love yet or just grow closer and more allied. Also I do not believe the MC in the story would allow her self another lover.
