i’m guessing because the original webtoon is korean, it’s probably just a translation for “hyung”/“dongsaeng” which are like “big brother”/“little brother” but are used even when ppl aren’t related. imo this seems like a weird way to translate it because the way the redhead speaks in this chapter def makes me think he’s been thinking of jonggu as “euncheol’s dongsaeng” but he means “eunchoel’s younger friend” more than “euncheol’s little brother”..... anyway hopefully i didn’t confuse you more ^ ^

this plot is a little confusing to me. can someone tell me what's going on
well, in their last lives things didn't go that well and the emperor piled up karma so they would meet ty he next life... the guest (sorry forgot their names) remembers everything from his past life and tried not to take the same path again so that karma wouldn't pile up and he wouldn't meet the emperor.. The emperor couldn't understand why the guest is angry at him and almost did the same things as the past.. but then he remembered bits of his memory and the servant who also remembers his past life tells the whole story to the emperor.. So right now the emperor just wants to treat the guest better but the guest thinks that it is all an act and the emperor remembers their past life all along and was making a fool out of him
