I used to dislike the ML cuz he’s just trash towards the FL but seeing his backstory, though it is still inexcusable how he treated FL, he was a victim himself and he merely copied what happened to him from his past…I wonder how he survived and what happened to his “brother”…either way, the dad was trash like mega trash not just that the other dad was too…I swear men (mainly dads) are just trash in them ISEKAI stories…it’s great that ML and redemption himself cuz in real life, people like him don’t.

I wasn’t really into the incest and rape part but the story is just so sad…but it shows how complex humans are and how their childhood and their decisions shaped them to the way they are. It doesn’t justify the wrong things they did but if only they had someone to hug to..but it’s just like reality, you’re your own shoulder to lean on and move forward.
