So in the 2nd half of the latest chapter, the letter that Shuli got was intended to be for this Herman von Reicher guy, who's Jeremy's and the other kids' uncle. (He looks exactly like Elias lmao). Herman is like a close friend of Johannes, which is why the letter is addressed to him. Now here's the part where it may get confusing. The letter is a key to have Shuli get a legal divorce (yes, she can't annul her marriage even to a dead husband under normal circumstances). In the letter, Johannes wrote about why he chose Shuli to be his wife (presumably because she had the same face as the dead Empress), and he also told Herman that they didn't have a husband/wife relationship (meaning they don't sleep together et cetera), which also means that the kids are not hers and Johanne's, and they never did 'it'. (which is kind of disturbing if you think about it.) So now that the letter has proved that Shuli is kinda like a wife just on paper, she has the right to ask for a 'legal' divorce, which will mean that Jeremy will become the next head of the household, and also annul his punishment, but with Shuli gone of course. The reason Shuli had to meet up with the bitchy lady is because Herman lived in this isolated place since he's in an unstable position in his family, and she needs to find his address so that he can testify in court that the contents of the letter is true. Hopefully you guys understand what I'm trying to explain!

So Yun-Ho probs or probs didn't kill Kashi. At the very least he did know Kashi's true nature, at least to some degree because he obviously know what he was talking about with Il after he got stabbed. While I appreciate the gray aspect of the story, I just want to see Yona and Hak getting back together, like goddamn it's been like 7 months I am sjsjsksja

So I know people are upset that Psyche is 'weak' in the face of the crown prince as has lingering feelings for him: but keep in mind that she's locked up for 15 whole years and was brought out from the basement under the belief that the prince had saved her. She even said the prince *IS* her God at one point, no matter how ludicrous that sounds. To her, he's her saviour before a murderer. There's also the fact that the prince serves as the catalyst for her instead of the father for Medeia. I'm pretty sure Medeia has no other choice than to just agree with the dad's idea of selling her off if she's still in her OG body (which is also what Helios notes, remember? How it's always been 'this' way?) I just find it incredibly unfair that people are hating on Psyche simply because she's not born a badass protagonist like Medeia, when both had suffered a horrible past. Psyche was naive because of how she was brought up, and is slowly learning how to hold her ground against others. Goodness, look at how long my rant is. I understand if there's still anyone who hates me for this though, but ugh. Seriously.

Pay attention to the plot in the story. The fact that the part where she's mentioned to be the stepping stone was only in behalf of Medeia. Their friendship is genuine; you can see how distraught both of them were after Psyche was chosen, Medeia because she thought that Psyche was just using her (as you implied) while Psyche was also mad because of the same reason (that Medeia had befriended her only out of pity, and when the result didn't end the way she wanted, she's willing to throw Psyche away even though that's not the case etc). Yes, she's happy that she's been chosen by the prince, but she's not happy at all that Medeia was left angry by it. At what point in the story has it been made clear that she's just the 'stepping stone' for her friend, when she's actually just an unwilling pawn in the freaking prince's plot? P/s: Sorry for getting worked up, I'm just really emotinally invested in these characters.

Uh, I dunno, maybe because I'm entitled to my own opinions? I'm just stating what I think of others' obviously one-sided favouritism towards Medeia, and I agree with you on the part where people will hate a weak character. I am certainly finding the flaws on others' preference of characters, but that's based on my opinion. It's not even that complicated so you don't have to reply on my thread if you don't like reading it lol

I know some people are gonna diss me for this, but I always thought I wanted some more complex villains in this manhwa, like I know blue bubblegum queen over here is kind of the 'mastermind' and everything, but I really want Eli to get out of the frame already. Her sheer stupidity and unchanging reason of wanting to kill Leslie is really getting boring to me by this point. I don't know, man.

My bad, I meant manhwa lmao, but here's the link (though it's just 4 chapters atm)

At first I was judging this arc WAYY too harsh, like I was legit hating how the author tries to make us sympathize with Soo Won and his tragic background, but as the chapters pile up and I finally convinced myself to read them, I got hit in my guts they're actually amazing. Putting aside Soo Woon (who may hate Lord Il from his childhood as presented in the latest chapter), the story of how Yona inherited the red hair and Soo Won's mom finally realizing that her line of family isn't what she thinks it is really drags me back into the story. I hope I wasn't the only one who had doubts on this arc at first lmao

I've read some of the novel spoilers in the comments on how... (Spoilers stated below)

Lucius apparently got a queen (another woman) and he either got Pauliana as his said mistress or not at all, I don't remember. I was hoping that the manhwa will divert from the novel, but Lucious saying stuff like "I'll take her as my concubine" and him wanting her to join his harem is uh, pretty much a sign of what's about to come? It's a bit off-putting when he makes it sound like she won't be the only one in his life (even if it's understandable that due to the times and all, having a harem is kinda like a norm?) but still... Or I'm just being a baby lol

Mega spoiler Beware....
Yeah, He had three fucking queens before Paulina.
They were drinking. Obviously, they ended up having sex and got her pregnant before she went away. The dude searched for her to make her his queen. He did find her, but he saw that she also has a kid. He sooner or later found out the kid was his. Paulina did go back, but not as a queen, as a knight.
Anyway anyhow anywho, the dude changed the law for Paulina and did some other stuffs which convinced her to marry him and become a queen.

Don't read unless you want to get spoiled! (P/S: I got this from an IG account that fan translates some of the raws, I believe this one is called obelianstars, though they may have changed their username)

So Jeremy was imprisoned (yeah, I know) and
his punishment is to get his hand cut off (the one that hit that dumbo crown prince). Now the thing is Jeremy was obviously framed into going to the library, as the creepy priest had said things are getting interesting... but the one who wanted so badly for Jeremy to get punished is the empress with the red hair (y'know, the one who treats the crown prince better than her own son?). The reason for this is apparently because she's upset that everyone around her (her husband aka the king/emperor and even the past duke of Neuchwanstein, forgot his name) treated Shuli kindly as she believed that their reason for favouring her is because she had the same face as the previous empress. She wanted the punishment to go on as she wants to 'test' Shuli to see whether or not she can get her to save her son. Of course, the prince also gets in the whole drama by insisting that he would 'protect' Shuli by taking her side in the trial that will discuss whether or not Jeremy will really get his hand cut off. I won't babble more but just look forward to some Nora x Shuli moments in the upcoming 2 chapters!

In Chapter 43, Shuli DOES have a solution in mind, but she did mention that she probably won't get to live with the children anymore as she wants to give the position of the family head to Jeremy and thus removing her only reason to stay with them. I'm pretty sure everything will turn out alright, though!
Does anyone remember which chapter Jackson first popped out in? The one where he shoved this one guy down a barrel or something. After the latest chap I want to bask in his hotness once again
I remember those slaps Jackson gave the barrel guy...
