This is my opinion, don’t get me wrong I liked it and is a well thought out story but it enrages me so much, the guy getting caught is inevitable and he will end up in jail one day, it angers me that he uses his disguises to cover up how he actually feels, like man how many years have you been doing this now? It’ll be an endless cycle if he never comes to terms with who he really is
Truthfully i feel like even if he does end up in jail. 1. It wouldn’t be long since he always returns the stuff he stole at most it would be 1 maybe 2 years in jail. And 2. He a master of disguises and could easily escape if he wanted to and no one would notice since he can look like a different person.
And for what you said about him using disguises to hide who he is and how he feel. In my opinion we honestly don’t know his past or what he went through so it’s a bit of a stretch to say he using disguises to hide who he is and how he feel. He could just be doing for fun we absolutely don’t know since he is a master of disguises and a great liar. If he was hiding how he feels with disguises it would be harder for him to come to terms with his emotions and who he is especially if he been doing it for a long time and been alone for however long. It kinda the same when a depressed person always fake a smile. It’s easy to fake emotions but harder to show real emotions. Even if he does have the support and someone who cares about him it will still be hard since he’ll need to learn how to trust that person. Even if he does “comes to term with himself” he could still have a hard time trusting and letting people through the wall he held up for so long. It varies from person to person since not everyone is the same ofc.
