Jun Xuan Xiao will be the Emperor and will declare Shen Yu as his Empress, he'll also abolish the harem so Yu'er will be his one and only consort. Shen Yu will treat him coldly, not talking to him (tho his muteness got cured) and will act like JXX is like air, completely ignoring him..

They will welcome a convoy from Goryeo (korean emissary) who happens to be Chu Ling, Shen Yu's cousin from that legendary clan. He will convince Yu'er to come and meet his remaining clan members who settled at the mountain. Shen Yu will finally gather his courage and leave JXX, however the moment they escaped, they were ambushed by the Huns who were in collusion with Chu Ling and Goryeo. Yu'er will be cornered and almost gets himself raped but JXX will come yo his rescue.. Kills off the barbarian.. He will follow Shen Yu disguised as a guard who wears a demon mask. JXX will pretend to be mute and Yu'er becomes talkative

The novel is amazing, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! There's actually more chapters posted on manhuahot (till chapter 68 roughly translated) but i guess my post was flagged. Lol (￣∇￣")

Yes of course they did.. I just stopped the spoiler at the time they reached the Chu clan settlement. That arc was JXX's redemption to prove his love for Shen Yu. Its so amazing and romantic, lol there's even a love square..

Chu Yi will discover JXX without his mask and almost naked, lol he was awestruck totally love at first sight.. But JXX only has his eyes on Yu'er.
Chu Ling and Shen Yu will be arranged to be married because apparently the Chu clan discovered a medicine that can make male pregnancy possible but only if the one taking the pill a legit Chu descendant. So there could be mpreg. LOL

Chu Ling knows its the emperor but they have an agreement, JXX will be accepted to enter the settlement if he agrees to stay mute and never reveal his true identity to anyone esp Yu'er.. They had some sort of bet to let Shen Yu decide whether he'll choose to save his clan and marry Chu Ling or fall in love with disguised JXX once again..

JXX was devastated when Yu'er told him he plans to marry Chu Ling (coz its the most reasonable and the last will of their grandpa) but Yu'er was torned he was constantly reminded of JXX because of the "mute guard" Yu'er was weirdly attracted to his "guard" he was kind and spoils him sm, checking his meals constantly, taking care of his meds and teaching him to ride a horse. Its like he low key wishes his husband was as kind as this masked "guard"..

So when JXX finally revealed his identity, i think Yu'er kinda knows it, a hunch maybe.. He finally forgave his husband.. All this happened while they were hiding and trying to get to the closest city for reinforcement, the huns were attacking the Chu settlement and they were trying to reach the Zhenbei army.

Im hella excited for this arc sfm!!! The manhua team is amazing they're able to keep up with the novel..

Yes, Jun Xuan Xiao. He'll be called Emperor Xuan after he ascends to the throne. Shen Yu only hangs around Emperor Xi Ye so he could find his mom, unfortunately, she was captured by the emperor and got killed. He disappeared after JXX's rebellion tho, even in the novel, he just vanished.. Not sure if he was killed too.
