Am I the only one who thought the ML is a massive red flag? He's clingy and manipulative, *and* he respected none of the uke's boundaries.

I wonder why the pseudo-incest thing is so popular in Japan lmao. Is it because their declining birth rate means fewer people have siblings, and so they end up fetishizing the idea?

I like the slow-burn romance. It feels very mature, and not in a spicy way.

This is so cute omg. And we're getting some heavy hints that ML is also some type of cat, probably a leopard judging from his sister's nails. Can't wait to know for sure

Chuckling at what the American lady said. Money absolutely *can* buy you entry into the aristocracy. That's exactly what the "dollar princesses" did around that time. Iirc, even Winston Churchill's mother was a rich American.

This is so cute(*≧∇≦)ノ they're just a pair of geeks geeking it out

Even though the plot was moving at a breakneck speed at the start, I find this story very refreshing for some reason

I hate how stories with holier-than-thou MCs teach people to turn the other cheek even for those who clearly won't appreciate the gesture. That's like reinforcing the message that it's alright to become a doormat and take others' abusive behavior because that's just what "good people" do. In the real world, kindness alone won't get through to them and make them change. You're just opening yourself to exploitation.

I mean, we're all here hate-reading this, so clearly there's a demand. I'm going to be honest and say the spoilers only made me more curious as to how this story is really gonna go. It's fun in its own way to watch a shitshow unfold, especially when you kinda already know what's coming

This really is Pride & Prejudice 2005 movie coded, down to the hand flex and how Laura's hair looked braided to one side after receiving Mr. Darcy's—I mean Mr. Dalton's letter. Needless to say, I love it. (And from the looks of things, we might get some Persuasion elements thrown in when Laura's first lover makes a reappearance. Can't wait!)

I guess my biggest question is why the Medean duchess switched the real princess for a fake one in the first place. Did the queen order her to? Because seriously, why take her when she didn't even plan to raise her herself. Why give her to that POS "father" who only wanted her dead?

My second biggest question is what the hell happened to the whole "this is a novel" plot lmao

Every time this updates now, I keep asking myself why the story isn't over yet. A climax is called a climax for a reason, and we already had that, so the ending should have come next.

This has been such a frustrating read. The mysteries only kept piling on while the ones before were not resolved yet. It's basically edging you with the way the answers are teased only to dump more questions on you that you'll also want answers for. Now at around the 80s chapters, they're info dumping like hell and goes deep deep deep into some lore, some details of which were barely even teased before so they more or less came out of nowhere. Just unnecessary "complexities" to the plot that I couldn't care less about by that point, because the story failed to make me care by being too "mysterious" and teasing with the details in the beginning. I only read until the available chapters because I thought this was already finished so might as well. Apparently not. Not bothering to wait for the continuation.

Girl, you guys are literally identical, so maybe don't?

I love the art, it's so delicious. But while the plot is interesting, the pacing is just all over the place at times. Still really like it though.
