Yo
How stupid must you fucking be if you think a flimsy piece of cloth will block her from the book like???
Also, what the hell gives you permission to decide who does or doesn't deserve books???
And...look. I'm sorry- I'm quite liking this as well, but what she's doing...isn't that....grooming..?
Grooming: "when someone builds a relationship, trust and emotional connection with a child or young person so they can manipulate, exploit and abuse them."
Idk about y'all but that is strangely accurate to this case. It might not be for sexual favors but she is still molding him to match what she wants and that just feels wrong to me. I also disagree with how shes doing this to destroy the empire. What about the innocent villagers who had even worse life's than her? They are the ones who are going to pay for it most, at the end of the day, if the empire is thrown into chaos. But she has been through a lot so i can sort of understand...though I'm still hoping she'll change.
On another note...are you perhaps the author of glass sight, between others?
That was close definition but not the right one grooming is “ grooming is befriending and establishing an emotional connection with a child, and sometimes the family, to lower the child's inhibitions with the objective of sexual abuse” and she’s not doing that. Yes she is manipulating him for her bidding but that’s it.
No but it would be considered grooming if there was an age gap hence the definition including “child or young person.” She’s 1 year older than him? I get that you could say she’s 400+ years old, but I wouldn’t even consider her alive in a sense, so she wasn’t even aging. She was pretty much in a state of insanity because her emotions became a blur, hence the cycle of feelings from love, resentment, attachment, to the current: nothing. That’s the only “aging” she goes through, but based on the novel, it’s kinda useless and I won’t spoil how.
Also yes haha did you recognize my @? I haven’t written in a while due to circumstances though.
You know, in their defense, id want her out too.
From the two chapters I've seen so far, she doesn't seem the type to be overly concerned nor involved in the kingdoms political affairs.
If i was a tired bureaucrat tired of finally finishing all the preparations for a pampered princess's birthday, only to have all your efforts go to waste and have to think of a new measure to save the kingdom, then i probably wouldn't have much patience either.
Like it or not, more than an actual ruler, she is probably more a symbol to her people.
If she acts like everything Is ok, then the kingdom will think they've got their act together. In this case and atm,her appearance is her most useful asset. She doesn't seem able to keep up with the ministers, so it's understandable they'd want to prepare he for the one thing she Can do.
Then again, maybe she actually is good at that stuff. Maybe she's just in shock and can't think because she's so heartbroken. But if so, i don't think they would have reacted that way so fast.
Btw- before any of you come running at me to defend her, I'm not faulting her.
She lives in that kind of environment, it's understandable she's detached from other struho, and i do genuinely believe that she will be pretty cool in the future, but at the moment, she still has a lot of growing up to do
That is all
Yes. But this is a fantasy storyline and she's going to go on a journey to stop it anyway (as we've seen from the synopsis) so we don't really know how big they are on about sexism and such.
And again, that's why I said the last part. It was understandable that she'd be disoriented and confused, so i don't fault her for it, but i still wish she'd change for the better. I don't much care for her at the moment. I am hoping that will change.

Hey...Edward, you're cute, but currently I'm finding cain much more agreeable. Don't greet my poor boi like thay
