I wish she wouldn't perpetuate and make him feel bad about his appearance tho :/

It just feels wrong

Hopeless_shipper October 3, 2020 10:11 am

Lmao well this is always.

I thought the mc was really young and thaf the commander guy was around his 30, and seeing as he treated her so we'll, I wanted them to grow attached until she regarded him as a father figure and have the blond bastard regret till his death bed, but he might actually be the ml so....*dead*

Also, her father is a bastard, and I don't care how much he loves the other girls supposed mother, you still suck, bitch

Hopeless_shipper October 3, 2020 9:04 am

Um...I find the story nice, but...how should I say this...it's all over the place?

Like, helios suddenly "died" or something and was replaced by an emo wannabe dumbass, I was already confused as is, but then she is struck by a mermaid and goes into a secret realm?

What even is that, anyway? Did she travel into another universe? The past? Is she looking into her memories? What the hells going on???

    WHY_N000T October 3, 2020 2:59 pm

I have the same questions but in the other hand i like having them Kdkf i like this messy story

Hopeless_shipper October 3, 2020 8:51 am

Nope nope nope nope nope nope nope the last thing I need is a replacement story fuck this shit I'm out

Hopeless_shipper October 3, 2020 8:42 am

Lmao they're funny

Hopeless_shipper October 2, 2020 8:10 pm

Dude pls tell me ellos isn't dead.

Soile is ok, but only as a background character. If he's the male lead I'll have to abandon this ship, and board the naomi one

Hopeless_shipper October 1, 2020 9:10 pm

I'm a bit iffy on this cause the male lead seems to surround himself with a LOT of women, and fuckboy harem Lord's are mostly scum of the earth in my eyes so pls don't let that be the case here

Hopeless_shipper September 30, 2020 11:02 pm

This will no doubt offend some people, but like is there anything she's actually good at?

I'm following this story quite loosely, but Aria doesn't seem as "amazing" as they treat her.

Most of her knowledge, and what makes her interesting to the others, is her "eye for business", but that's just her memories and the hourglass.

Not to mention, she seems a bit like a "white lotus" not just outwardly. Inwardly too. I mean, Im aware she doesn't think of herself as "pure" or whatever, but a lot of actions and consequences she's faced were caused by herself, but she still pins them on others, when it's her own fault.

Also, I'm about to say something that will cause even more controversy:

If you guys like morally grey characters that much, wouldn't lady isis's story be much more interesting?

She's smarter than Aria, more business savvy than Aria, more manipulative than Aria, and the most important: she didn't need magical powers to get to where she wanted(I mean, yes, she's the crown princess, and she had better opportunities, but a lot of her achievements are still her own)

Just my two cents.

*Sigh* I can just see the dislikes coming

    H1th3r3 September 30, 2020 11:11 pm

Lady isis is a horse faced stuck up snob that looks like a man. The only traits she has is that she is domineering and has a superioity complex.
    I

    Nissa September 30, 2020 11:16 pm

logically You are right it would be nice if they added a story of lady isis

And like you said the way aria uses others for her own interest is not different from isis

I understand and even sort of agree with the critics you have with Aria, but an important reason why I prefer watching her story, rather than someone like Lady Isis, is because of her characterization and her possible character arc. It is very much true that Aria and Isis are morally grey people and Lady Isis is perhaps “superior” in intellect and manipulation, but honestly her background and status isn’t as compelling as Aria or the progression of the story.

Aria isn’t as smart as Isis or business savvy but she is clever, adaptable, and quickly learns well from her mistakes. She doesn’t have to be all knowing or a highly intelligent in order to reach her goals. She can also be immature, self centered, spiteful, arrogant and self pitying which only makes her character fell multifaceted and well flushed out. It’s refreshing to see that Aria doesn’t have just one flaw, but several. It makes her feel real.

I’ve read many different isekais with wronged princesses coming for revenge after they been “wronged”. And although interesting and entertaining, I do personally love a come up story. Stakes are just naturally higher and there are much more obstacles to overcome because of Aria’s status, which is very important for all aspects of the upper class. She has to work twice as hard to get what she wants because she doesn’t have an aristocratic or noble background. Unlike Lady Isis, her gaining allies are harder and when things actually come together after trial and error, it feel much more awarding when she Succeeds.

In regards to the magical hourglass, I feel like it’s an item to level the playing field rather than an op item. Her peers have the advantage of years of privilege, high education, riches and born nobility while Aria has the advantage of the hourglass. And we are shown that the hourglass doesn’t have the same amount of benefits because it has a taxing side effect and is reliant on Aria being careful and aware enough of her encounters with other powerful people.

Overall I just find Aria to be a more interesting and fun character to follow.

I feel like it could be more along the lines of people enjoying how she pretty much changes compared to how she was before and her entire revenge story. True, her business eye does come from her past memories, but in the end I think she's just trying to keep herself from dying so pathetically like she did in her last life. So maybe people are enjoying seeing what decisions she makes, and how she manipulates and uses people to her advantage in order to make sure she survives and is a step ahead of everyone this time round.

    AbsLicker October 1, 2020 12:38 am

I disagree with your opinion. Because unlike Isis, Aria doesn't have privilege to power, status, and money. She needs to work her ass to get to where she is now.

They both are grey characters, but Aria is smarter than Isis. Aria can make use of her own knowledge about the future to the fullest, she can learns lots of things in short amount of times considering she didn't learn anything in the past, even basic ethics. And lastly, Aria knows how to cherish people, unlike Isis who only thinking about her own self.

Aria is grey because the environment makes it so. She needs to cover her own ass, without even the help of her mother. So it's understandable. There will be character development, so her thinking would also be changed. If you want a deep understanding about her character, then it's better to read the novel.

    fortheloveofsam October 1, 2020 2:52 am

i agree somewhat and I feel like people would like isis more if she was the main character it reminds me of a different manga with a complete bitch as the main character
BUT Aria had to fight for where she got to and had a lot against her while Isis was born into a noble position without others tearing her down, at least originally
Plus Aria is actually smart like yeah she says its all memories but she had to pay attention and memorize all of the business happenings and her sister's schemes
like if i went back in time i would be able to tell you what was going on in the economy to such specifics and when

    H1th3r3 October 1, 2020 3:16 am

Important people realise Aria is NOT a heroine shes an anti-heroine. Whose redeemable traits is that unlike alot of FL she learns from her past experiences and doesnt waver in pursuit of revenge.

And also the people she is targetting are far war than her. In many ways they made into the ruthless and cunning being she became.

Characters like ISIS serve purpose only as sideline characters. I literally skim when their scenes show up. Because that is how "interesting" they are.
