I was so happy to see where this is going, because the empress seemed smart and was interesting, but that's the ONLY reframing feature in this(apart from the art, which I quite like) everyone else is either dumb or socially inept, which is rich, coming from someone like mE.
The dialogues are so OBVIOUS like "I guess I wouldn't have liked you either if you killed all my relatives" which in itself isnt that bad if only one socially constipated person said, NO, it's repeated throughout the whole goddamn story as if it weren't glaringly obvious.
And then the plot, don't even get me fucking started. There's great potential, really, but it's gonna get ruined by the fucking romance that's gonna apear like a sore thumb.
Seriously. As a reader, finding stories that seem interesting only to have rubbish for plot is one of the most furiating experiences ever.
