Yep. This is too much for me. You'd think I'd developed a resistance against male leads that lacked backbones and were general assholes after reading abandoned empress, but nope, my tolerance has just gotten worse, and I'm not about to go through another shit hole of a love drama centered excuse for plot.
Of course, I believe this is way better- I refuse to believe there is a worse isekai story than the abort worthy crap abandoned empress pretty much was. That's not the uncle. It was prime minister Gilbert, who said that the mother doesn't care to show up, and to me it looks like he did that on purpose. The uncle is called Vesto, and he appears later, when MC asks for permission to stay with Stayle. They look very similar (I thougth that they were the same person), but the prime minister has long hair in a ponytail, while uncle Vesto has short hair.
