I think it may be the faces. Their expressions or rather, lack of. Not a single character in this manhwa has a natural expression on their face. Besides the mouth shape or possibly eye size changing, nothing else changes when characters express shock, anger, etc. I can't really describe it well, but there are some stories where the artist was able to draw miniscule changes in expressions.
I KNOW WHAT YOUR TALKING ABOUT literally their faces won’t make any expressions only their mouths like when that black hair guy smirk at the crown prince his eyes stayed the same
Somehow, compared to the novel, it feels too rushed, like quick skipping through the novel pages. Authors didn't miss main details, but imho two novel chapters in one comic ch. is a little bit too fast,.
However the art is nice.
I feel like 2ch per 1ch in manhwa is p normal, however usually the novel version is so much slower than this one must be lol Because I agree with you. It is def going way too fast

His mother just left him and went to live happily with her tribe, his "noble" stepparents used him all the time, he loves Violet but doesn't know how to show it as he grew up without love and with the only controllable thing - money.
They just really needed to talk and find out that mountain of unknown things about each other.

If you didn't read the novel, try it. There are moments (his thoughts mostly) that are not in the comic, and its frustrating, actually.
