Unpopular opinion: I like the emperor I dislike the uke.
Like at first I disliked the emperor but Im pretty sure the uke isn't getting on my nerves only
He didnt even properly side with the little one, he truly lacks balls when it's relevant.
Anyway I like the emperor he's...like an adult child.
i think that the uke this that if he does side with the child and openly protects him by arguing with the emperor, he's afraid that the emperor is choosing the child over him..harms the child and possibly kills him just like how the emperor killed what uke wants in their past life

I did not expect this manga to be this good omg!
Because I mistook for a webtoon (I am sleep deprived...) I thought it'd take 20 minutes to read a mild story. It took me 4hours instead and Im glad I spent the rest of my night on this!
The characters are charming, the art is good, the humou is subtle (as a good humor should!) The plot is interesting, the back story is intriguing, captivating!
As expected of mangas, in 6 chapters you've got the equivalent of a full 50-100 chaptets webtoon ...and a quality on top of that!
I predicted the whole plot from chapter 1 so I skipped to chaptef 29, then predicted the plot again so now I'll be waiting 10-20 more chapters to see if the story is a slight be innovative.
It's really sad because the original concept of mythology meets with modern is so good, but the story really is the most average of the average plots.
It's so... in everything, the characters' writing, uke's backstory, seme's backstory, the parents...it's all a mix of "basic plot"
What a waste for the concept.

But damn he's lacking a few braincells. Turns out I hate people who have little sense of analysis.
For example: Had Rourou existed, I'd have figured the coincidences of his predictions/drama and events even though I'm not into supernatural stuff.
And it pisses me off because Yi Yun doesn't see danger and it makes me anxious. Add to that the fact that he doesn't see Jinyao's love and I lowkey hate him already
