My daily, here’s some tidbits from the novel that was missing in the manhua to encourage more people to read the novel since it’s also just entertaining to read.

The main character actually put a black face mask on after leaving the Internet cafe. A lot of characters wear face masks actually, and jiu wears a black one usually. This is because of the pollution in the air, and it actually becomes a small plot point later on in the series.

(Stupid story about me, I thought when they said a black mask, they were talking about a literal mask, like you would find in like a costume or something XD So I read for like 500 something chapters thinking it was that type of mask and being confused, until I suddenly just had a epiphany THAT THEY WERE TALKING ABOUT A FACE MASK! WHAT’S WORSE IS THAT I WEAR A FACE MASK DAILY(even before COVID happened lol) IM THE BIGGEST DUMB FCK ON THE PLANET. I CAN’T BELIEVE I JUST DID THAT XD)

Also, yaoyao and little Feng commented about how jiu was actually pretty wicked and conniving as she approached the Internet cafe manager with the intent to bring him into their team. She had saw how he played when she had first met him, and that’s the only reason she continued to go to the cafe. The two commented how that it was kind so wicked of her like it was almost like she had tricked him into joining the team XD

(This might be stated in future chapters so who knows lol)

Anyways, just my usual “hey, they left this out, but the novel is always available.” Not to mention, the way the author writes is the funniest thing ever. I still can’t get over Jade rabbits XD (people who know, know)

When I first saw this manga, the cover for it was the cover for the novel and I was super excited cause it was a cute shota on the cover, but then the manga art XD just a big depression but oh well.

Depressed the translator is dropping it, my once in awhile Tsubaki shota fix ;; where else am I supposed to get it, he’s so adorable and I want to protect him and hug him

I’ve read multiple translations for this, and I’m apart of the third type of reader that likes both quality and quantity since I’m greedy XD however, you have both, and your translations are also high quality. It’s easy to understand and I like how you also post corrections in the next chapter if you had made a mistake. I would love it if you continued posting on mangago since I don’t check my Instagram often.

Oh yeah, a difference in the novel compared to the comic That I thought was interesting, so I can recommend reading the novel again lol: jiu actually built a computer which looks like a English textbook, so she could play in class without being caught.(in the comic, she just hides a laptop behind her books.) btw, when yaoyao saw her laptop, she was surprised at how the book somehow turned into a laptop. She uses it for awhile before destroying it, but there were multiple plot points that allowed her to hide the laptop in plain sight cause it looked like an English textbook, so I’m wondering how they’re gonna do this in the comic when it comes. Just thought this was pretty interesting lol, and I was surprised when I looked back on the chapter to see she didn’t actually make her customized laptop(I read the novel after reading a bunch of chapters from the comic).
