I don't like the way Shizuma is very casual with girls, and even his ex. Saying he loves Minato, but he doesn't act to his words, esp in front of his friends. I won't blame Minato if he has fun with other guys.
It's not because she's his ex that he can't be friends with her.
It's not because he has a bf that he can't be kind and cusual towards other people.
Shizuma is still human. It's not because he's in a relationship that he absolotly has to be somehow distant from other people.
And being in a relationship doesn't mean being all lovey-dovey 24/7. I personnaly think the prettiest form of love is when the 2 partners act like friends, but still kiss and hold hands from time to time because they like each other.

But guess you have your own vision of those kinda things.
If you can't trust your partner to talk with other people then you've got issues. Trying to put limits on who they can and cannot talk to is not healthy behaviour.
I never said he has to be distance himself from people, or not talking with those ex(s), since he's living in the society, work places etc. The problem here is how he carries himself among girls, ex that still thinks she has upper hand over him, as someone who commits serious relationship already. With his ex, he can't treat her like she's still his gf, if you don't understand what I said. He can talk to her but to walk her to the station only two of them, it's not ex bf's job. If I'd do that in reality, my spouse would not go easy on me at all. It's not like nobody else on earth to do that job for her! The underline is ALone only two of them!
How I carry myself in the public with my spouse is big different from the fiction things here, reality is big different indeed. I said in the public, living in multicultural society, I adopt their value and adapt myself to many of those. I care about place, people and time regarding how to presence myself with my family. The things you pointed out, calling each other, sweetheart, acting puppy love or so, I don't familiar with that myself. One thing I make clear to people around me is I'm married! and act like one! This is really nothing can compare to fiction here. Of course, I'm one friendly person and living in the society like normal. We're grown ups that know the lines, and respect other people's boundaries. When commit the conversations, often I heard, I don't mind dating you but not that guy, or I don't mind sleeping with you or seductive gestures. There are so much more in reality to the Oldtaku like me. The comment here is to follow the fiction that author plotted it out for us alone.
I'm talking about Minato here who has his own history and issue with trusting other people! And how Shizuma maintains the relationship as gay couple in the society, esp workplace! I don't talk about me. If I don't trust the person, I won't even start the relationship with that one. My own relationship is strong and long enough to be the grand already.
