The priest guy was really out of nowhere character to add to support the story but somehow got to answer some questions which resulted to another question and only to give a backing that every timeline she lived he was there, and carcel was her predestinate partner. But this doesn't solve the question why does she have to go through all that just bc "she's wasn't in the path where god chosen for her" and why does carcel, crown prince and emiliano know their vague past lives? Or is this marvel thing where the dimension and the other timelines are starting to flow in one stem which they got to remember the fragments and maybe that's why ines can be saved by carcel this time bc of it (stopping her to kill herself or ran away which she plans to)

Seeing leila go through all those hideous treatment really depicts the real life situation that some women go through, leila is the epitome of beautiful intelligent and strong woman but easily get taken advantage due to her circumstances.
