Is anyone obsessively and desperately trying to figure out what will happen next? And if there's any chance this won't be the worst case scenario? It's so frustrating since it's all just guessing, as knowing anything that will follow is obviously impossible...
In the last scene Seungho quoted Nakuym, about them being just two naked bodies, which, paired with their current positioning and Seungho's state of mind, gave us ptsd and prompted us to assume he might hurt Nakuym, and in a sexual way (which has been Seungho's language, it's how he communicates: shows love, shows anger, releases tension or forces someone to cooperate etc). I guess that's what we fear the most, coming back from this and salvaging any relationship they had will be awfully difficult.
However, despite that, I do hope something will stop him from going any further, if he was in fact planning to. Maybe someone will knock on the door, perhaps informing Seungho he has a guest, or maybe he will stop himself and will leave. Maybe he will punish Nakyum by locking him there for a while and treating him coldly.
And how will he find out the truth?? Honestly, I don't think Nakyum will say another word now. Not after all that buildup, it probably won't just end with them talking and Nakyum admitting the truth. We've never seen Seungho's drawn this way, so it has to have some major significance. Their relationship will most likely deteriorate for a while.
I think most probable option is that he will once again find out the truth from someone else. Now, will that be another lord, the one that was a witness to Min and Jihwa plotting? Or will it be Min himself? Trying to stir Seungho once again or spilling something by accident (as he did before).
I DON'T KNOW and I'm gonna go crazy from all that thinking, when it's all guessing. I won't figure it out...
One thing that gives me a tiny bit of hope is that Seungho turned Nakyum around to not see his face. And I'm not sure if he's actually even able to have sex now, so him forcing sex on Nakuym might not be the option here. He seems to be grabbing Nakyum's neck very hard too, I wouldn't be surprised if Nakyum has passed out from it (notice that he isn't making any noises and his face is buried flat into the fabric on the ground). I might be completely wrong, over analysing every detail, desperately trying to figure out the next scene lol
Ok, I just don't want the pavilion to repeat itself. There's lots of facts against that this could even be an option now, so much has changed, but who knows.... Do you think Author would go this far at this stage of the story?
Anyway, feel free to share your ideas!
I don't think anyone could stop Seungho when he gets like this. My best guess is that he'll somehow notice Nakyum's bruises from being restrained and stop himself, but this assumption falls short because No Name strangled him to get him unconscious, and there were no marks left. I feel like that's a slip on Byeonduck's part, it makes no sense. I think it's a deliberate choice to move the whole "I know you've run away from me" narrative along, just to make Seungho believe he was left behind. Still a load of crap, though.
Maybe feisty Nakyum will make a comeback and fight back? This is just wishful thinking since he was barely able to say anything more than a "my lord" after Seungho didn't believe him. I guess he could come up with something to make Seungho change his mind? Something that would convince him that he never planned to leave him behind. Even Seungho knows that Nakyum running away and coming back makes no sense, but he's too blinded by rage to believe anything else but his insecurities. To me, it seems like there's nothing that could stop him from hurting Nakyum next week BUT it's not the first time he acted recklessly and stopped himself last minute. The orgy thing never happened although he was all "let's enjoy him together" like a cocky little shit.
Another pavilion situation is both possible and predictable. Most of us believe that's what we're gonna get, but then again, we all hoped that Seungho will put two and two together and realize Nakyum was taken away from him, and look where that got us. Byeonduck loves to take us by surprise so maybe he'll really open his eyes and stop this madness once and for all. I'd be happy with him locking Nakyum up and leaving him there all alone, anything but another pavilion situation. I just feel like there are other possibilities to keep Seungho's character consistent without having him assault Nakyum again.
I don't know. Things would be no different than in the beginning if he did that again and he supposedly has feelings for Nakyum now. It'd just be repetitive. Reading the same plotline for the millionth time'd be boring but whatever.
Yeah, I might take a break from this actually for real. I love the story so much, I think it's brilliant and the fact that it affects me so much proves how well written it is. But I'm concerned how seriously affected I feel today from it, so saddened and disturbed. And last week too, and the week before. This comment has no particular reason, just sharing. I know some of you feel similar.
Since it's a work of fiction, I don't think it's healthy to be this depressed over it lol
And trust me when I say, this girl ain't a teenager, I need to save my poor heart ╥﹏╥
I will gather strength to try and wait at least a couple of weeks for next updates. I know, I know, I will probably come back at the speed of light for the update next week. But I'll try regardless.
God....

. It's not like I expected them to get lovey dovey, happy ever after, the end.
But that was so heartbreaking.
Of course Seungho wasn't going to listen to reason. He believes his own distorted perception. He now feels betrayed and has ptsd. His face looks a lot like it did in the falshback, the madness and desparation when he was younger.
I can sense some angry sex in the next chapter...
I just wish Nakyum would tell him, to avoid being hurt. Come on. If Nameless doesn't kill yoh, Seungho will torment you. But I'm not the one to decide what Nakuym should fear more.
Such a shame.
Talk to me about the ROBE

Ok, I need to address it and someone, please talk to me about this lol
We're all like "aww" that Nakyum was snuggling in Seungho's robe, finding comfort in it.
But WHY is this robe there in the first place ffs (ノ TДT)ノ
It's an expensive, tailored clothing. Seungho left Nakyum on the ground for the servants to bring him over when they found him. So he wasn't brought back wrapped in it.
He's not in a room, he's in a shed. He's laying on a straw mat and some white fabric. And yet, he's covered with Seungho's own robe. WHY.
Why not blanket. Or any other fabric. Why an expensive clothing.
Anyone?
I think the servant didn't know where to bring Nakyum. NK usually would be in seungho room so he could sleep comfortably but seungho ignored nakyum and left just like that, so the servant brought him to a store room coz they can't enter seunghos room without permission. They didn't put any blanket but they light up the fire so NK could be warm. Since NK is also a lowborn, they didn't care much about him. Only matter when seungho start to treat him well. That's why you can see he got nothing there. Seungho probably came after they dump him there and put the robe on Nakyum shiver body... That's it. Just hoping seungho will change, if not...idk what to say anymore.
I think the fact Seungho covered Nakyum will his robe shows that he still loves him, despite his anger. He could have left him in the snow, but he brought him home. If he really wanted to punish Nakyum he could have left him with nothing in shed. But he gave him a fire for warmth. He already had bedding but he gave him his expensive robe for more warmth. I'm holding onto my hope that Seungho will let Nakyum explain what happened
Just noticed, Nakyum's shoe is still missing. When they found him unconscious, he didn't have the shoe on.

I wonder if there can be any significance to this.
Possible scenario, Nakuym told Seungho what happened. Seungho believed him and went to Jihwa to check it out, not being too obvious. He spotted Nakyum's shoe somewhere there, which proved Nakyum's claims.
Or, he didn't believe Nakuym, but went to Jihwa anyway, either to investigate or for some other reason, and spotted the shoe.
Question is, was it all at Jihwa's house? I would think so, they wouldn't use just any random place, would they
Or the shoe won't matter lol
